What did I miss on picking Greinke as my SP on FanDuel? I have one LU in 4 single entry contests. Greinke isn’t 3% owned in any of them.

    $500 MLB Stolen Base – 2.7% owned ($2 entry)
    $5K Fri Stolen Base – 1.1% owned ($2 Entry)
    $7K Fri MLB ACE – 0.9% owned ($10 Entry)
    $7K Fri MLB Single – 0.7% owned ($5 Entry)

Thoughts why a Pitcher like Greinke kept everyone away?

  • Beckhams3Fingers

Nothing like sitting 11th in a GPP with negative points from both your pitchers. SMFH.

ooofta Gallo is a strikeout machine lol

tough matchup vs. dodgers for his price, severino, kluber, wheeler and others much better/safer options tonight.

Eovaldi done haha!! Rain delay and they yank him. Thanks for the -3 pts Nathan.

Woo! Thank god I wasn’t one of the 22% that took Severino. He burned me the last time and I was like “hell no”. I was one of the 11% that took Kluber.

The Curse finally comes thru! It took long enuff!!

  • cjs5555

i figured fiers was due for some regression…plus reverse splits vs. the SEA lineup and the Healy revenge factor

  • cjs5555

zack wheeler has really turned a corner in the 2nd half this year….he’s been amazing

  • tbird05

its seems like Mitch Garver smoked one to the track and was orginally called a triple and now it’s just an error. anyone see that play?

  • tbird05

ok he got scared of the wall and let it drop

i didn’t see it but was also confused by that on the gamecast

  • tbird05

i guess you’re just expected to make the play even if it involves crashing into a wall. replay is up on mlb site. i feel like if that was a Ranger it would be ruled a triple. he ended up crashing into the wall after taking his eye off the ball anyway…

    that’s weird…usually it’s a hit if they don’t touch it

nah he did touch it and i guess thats why it’s an error. i saw the replay in low resolution and while it didn’t seem he was running full speed he still ended up on his butt after hitting the wall. he just took his eye off the ball to see how close he was.

Here’s how I plan on being different tonight.

    1. Using the Players per Team option in the LUHQ to ensure I have some exposure to the chalkier teams, but only as one-offs. Ex. MIN/TEX. Not touching that chalky game stack. Mostly because I’m going cheap at pitcher tonight, and there’s not enough expensive bats in this game.

    2. I’ve heard Wheeler’s name get mentioned a lot, so my main pitcher is Suarez. That’s my leverage play of the night. Don’t think I can stack the Giants, but I’ll have a couple one offs.

    3. I didn’t want to put it all on Suarez, so I’m taking 2 other pitchers in that price range. Senzatela (COL) and Sanchez (TOR).

    4. Since I’m going cheap at pitcher, that leaves room to stack some of the more expensive teams. I’m thinking

    CLE 40%
    BOS 30%
    CHC 15%
    NYY 15%

Got the Suarez over Wheeler, but this is a good example of why I need to worry about bats first.

Sure, Suarez had a big game but I completely disregarded the Royals stack. I mean I looked at it earlier in the day, but when I decided to pay down at pitcher, they didn’t seem as good a stack.
