Anyone playing the all star showdowns on fan duel and/or DK? Been browsing the web and not finding much info on them. Anyone have any thoughts?

What if a batter was retired prior to the guy stealing. Such as Player A reaches base with 1 out, player B then strikes out for out #2, and then Player A gets caught stealing during player C at bat for out #3?

If the last out was the guy stealing then the hitter never made an out and is leading off the next inning.

thats what i said….hence the guy stealing

you could make it even more complicated and say what if runner was a Pinch runner LOL…beat this horse some more…the guy at plate leads off..nuff said

Right but the guy caught stealing would now be on second. From my understanding so far. I assume that’s only fair for the batter because that’s how it works in a normal inning.

I am on the side of the ball isnt juiced and more on the side of the game of baseball is becoming harder to watch for us older guys.
I think pujhols had a 10 year average of like 38 home runs and never struck out over 100 times. Now a days players refuse to take the hit given to them and i must swing for the fence attitude.
I think that commeercial a few years back \CHICKS DIG THE LONG BALL\ has helped change a game where a mike moustakas can play second base because he never has to worry about any footwork over there. Miggy cabrera/goldy/k davis/j ramirez/carpenter/aguilar/shaw/mookie/palka/ all those guys hit a lot of home runs last year but not so good this year.
Is it oprah dealing them out / you get a juiced ball and you get a juiced ball but not you or you?
Everybody is ok with striking out or hitting a home run. Nobody steals or bunts , hell the Rays play 4 outfielders and 3 infielders (all on the right side of the diamond against Smoak and he still refuses to put a ball in play with his team being down by 2 onthe left side of the field.

so this game counts towards achievements on DK? would suck to lose the HR streak.

deGrom is 60/1 on Bet Stars to win MVP

Is he not available to pitch? He last pitched Friday.

    Kershaw is 100/1.

keep the info coming guys. we can help each other do well tonight. Or at least have the best chance to do well. I have heard earlier today that RYU only going one for sure. Also for those wondering about AL Shortstop at bats, Bogaerts is going to follow JD at DH and will not see any action in the field.

How would he really win it more than one of 60 times? He will throw one inning. He would probably have to be perfect, dominant, win the game AND hope that there is no blasts by a winning team player or a multhi hit productive game by a winning team player. Starts getting pretty unlikely, so I don’t really see it is a value play, but not a horrible play either.

    Good point, thanks.

By the way, continuing to check the books, DK has an odds boost for a player to hit 2 homers at +750

and over 3.5 homers for the game at +150

    neither one seems worth it.

First timer probably has a lot to do with it. Doesn’t hurt that he is flexible enough to move all around the OF.

So if it’s a tie game bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and a runner on first, the AL essentially gets a free stolen base. Whether the runner is on in the 8th or 9th is the question and the out situation.

vets are like…hey let the kid play…i watched him and coached against him for 3 years and told everyone he would be better than frazier..so far the prediction looks good

  • dbullsfan

just swapped out 2 pitchers for Yelich/Trout in my cash lineup, feel like if anyone gets 3 AB’s those guys have a great shot, also getting nervous about needing a little higher floor than just what going with 6 pitchers can give you.

  • callmetouch

should we expect some similar things from last years game?

so lindor should play 1/2 the game replacing baez

there is some risk of Yelich coming out immediately after taking at bat I would think as well since he missed Sunday game and pulled out of derby with a minor back issue that has bothered him off and on all first half.
