MLB is by far my most favorite daily fantasy sport to play. My question is can you profit playing 50/50’s and head to heads? It seems like it would be very hard to win 58% or more of your contests. I would love to grind all season, but there is so much information out there it seems like its hard to gain an edge. Am I better off just multi entering GPP’s and hoping for a big score?

I think paying up for pitching is relative to matchups. If you have Sale, Degrom, and scherzer on a 5 game slate with a bunch of gas cans everywhere else, you might want to pay up. I personally like to look for that Robbie ray type with s/o potential in a good spot. Hitters are always the most difficult for me to get right tho. I always seem to get 1 or 2 with a dud. Cash games I think depend. You need to pay attention to who’s in the other side or in the 100 man league. I played a 100 man league 2 nights ago on FD and didn’t cash with a 172. Pay attention to who your opponents are.

I only play 1 single entry tourney and 1 cash lineup each night… usually for $1 each. It’s a lot harder to cash in a $1/100 player tourney than it is to cash in a $1GPP
