Wondering the same thing. I’m playing the 2-gamer on DK. Saw a little mention earlier in this forum but not much. In the wild card I started with stacking all four teams but chickened out of the Rocks lineup and ended up stacking the Snakes twice. Unfortunately played all four starters to some degree. Yuck!

Thinking the game to stack is BOS HOU with the way things are going lately. Both SP’s are capable of bad innings that could get him pulled, I think Sale especially with all the dongs he gave up his last few starts. Thinking both CLE and NYY have good bullpens right? Yankees used theirs pretty hard but Gray has a good chance of blowing up as well. Todd Frazier and Didi are the only ones to ever take Bauer deep in around 150 AB’s and the long ball has been NYY bread and butter. Thinking Bauer is the way to go, stack the batters in the other game at decreased price and probably decreased ownership and hope the SP trend continues and both teams get some AB’s against the pen. I do like Verlander a little and think he could get at least 5 innings which would be nice which puts a damper on the BOS plays yet he could give up a solo dong or two and not be hurt too bad. Although a 4th or 5th man SP could be a good long reliever if they had one. Morton and Peacock look good but I think they’re lined up to start so doubt they’d be used. IDK, lots of random thoughts running through my head.

Right now I have Bauer in 3/4 and Verlander in 2/4. With all starters in negative points in the WC games it’s hard to say.

Just letting everyone know that on DK the playoff arcade is WAYYYY more fun than the classic for these two game playoff slates. The addition of relievers (well more points for their stats so they are legit choices) introduces a lot more skill than a 2 game classic slate.

How would you know which relievers get in though?

Stack against Chris Sale and Justin Verlander… That’s the play, huh?

  • 7klub06

Maybe this helps on RP a little based off of starters for first 2 games

On Tuesday I gave you Jose Berrios.

Today, I give you Andrew Miller.

man you gotta do something to be contrarian as hell. The way the playoffs have gone so far it’s possible neither of them make it past the 3rd. I know those wild card games all bets are off so the short leash is understandable and both those guys should go deeper but you never know. I could see Sale giving up a few bombs again, Verlander I’m a little more confident in.

Was just a bunch of random thoughts going through my mind. My head is spinning for some reason and it’s only 2 games. Running so many scenarios through my head. Doing 2 lineups myself, one with Verlander the other with Bauer and figure just stack the opposite games for the most part but I’m trying to sprinkle some Indians plays in there, maybe a Yankee or 2 in the Verlander lineup.

Hmmmm interesting. Any takes on Sale?

  • 7klub06

DK won’t even let u pick him smh

Was half kidding because Berrios got shelled and David Robertson was in God mode.

I don’t want any part of Sale. Stros are so, so deep and so very right handed. Sale has thrown a ton of pitches this season and will have a long leash today, so I don’t particularly want guys from that pen either.

I think we’ll see the most RP innings from Miller and Adam Warren, with Miller the more likely of the two to be effective and get a lot of Ks.
