Noticed DK has games for today. Tried researching but not getting a lot of info. Going to try and focus on young guys trying to make impacts like the rookie Alonzo for the Mets competing with Smith for 1st base.

Ouch Randy, I think that would have cashed for sure. Did your PGA guys at least make the cut?

I posted my blog for review. Hopefully there is an editor approving them on Saturday morning… Will post a link when it is up.

I got one 6/6 through. Had another 5/6 with one guy missing the cut by one stroke.

Hopefully this is still helpful. I know yesterday wasnt great for me. Needed like every guy that hit a hr to get anywhere since chalk pitching did good.

Oh hey, I didn’t even notice. That’s great and very much motivation to keep going!

To get back on track. Anything jumping out today for anyone? I am just actually starting to look at the info for specific plays.

Hanley might be a nice one-off against a mediocre lefty…if he were in the player pool. That mediocre lefty might be a nice chalk-swerve today; funky delivery; March 4 hitters timing still a work in progress; Indians without Lindor, Santana not starting, Padres rolling out most their bats (possible early lead/Win eligible), etc. I feel like everyone will be playing Marquez, Urias, Bieber.

I’m not seeing many lineup screen shots, and those I am seeing aren’t showing me anything tasty out of the bullpen and are showing way to many position players available to get too contrarian with position players not in the starting lineup (unless that 5th inning scratch on the White Sox lineup can be deciphered). Might have to try and find some low owned guys who are starting – seems like every time I actually get that right, though, the chalk at the same position hits.

    Thanks for the info D4RKSH33P
I’m really liking Machado today also liking Cordero for some reason for the Padres
As for pitchers i have no idea
Who do you think will pitch at least 2 innings or more?

The Angels lineup shots are good at showing who is planned on coming in. Wish some others did that. It is also inconsistent where and if a beat writer shares the planned relievers.

I think everyone starting today has a pitch count to go at least 2. As far as 3 innings, I think everyone will have a pitch count that could take them into 3 and complete 3. The question becomes if you think they aren’t going to get blown up and get taken out after 2 since they have reached the pitch count.

I think I am going to play combo so Urias, Marquez, Lopez (risky), and Cahill (risky). I also like Bieber and Lucchesi, but I am going to stack pitchers with hitters to correlate hopeful wins.

Edit: Finished building lineups and followed the pattern here. Did do 1 line up with Indians stack and Bieber too.

  • D4RKSH33P

Well hopefully you all went Bieber and Lucchesi. Urias and Volquez went 2 innings and everyone else was set to go for 3. Lopez didn’t get through the third though.

  • thewinners

I did Lucchesi and Marquez as my pitchers. So far i’m in 1st on dk but only entered a $ 1 dollar double up
I messed up and wanted to do a $ 10 dollar up and realized after lock i entered the $ 1 dollar double up…lol

Will get lineups in later but that will probably be the only update today.

  • JENSGT

At this point it seems like there’s zero advantage to playing bench players since the starters are all getting 3 at bats. It’s not as fun since the last 4 innings are all sweat but still…

  • gunthie176

    First Five Innings Line
    Yankees -225, 5.5
    Mets -115, 5.5 (O-120)
    Phillies -130, 5.5
    Nationals -155, 5.5

No specific game to target today on the vegas totals. but Yankees are pretty strong favorites, so i would guess this should mean that Severino is good for perhaps 3 innings + the Yankees are going with close to an Opening Day lineup today.

Having trouble with my pitchers today outside of Scherzer, where are you guys leaning?

Alcantara or Flaherty. They are both making their 3rd appearance.

  • Jaws1002

I see it’s raining in some parts of Florida today. Does anyone know of any possible cancellations today?
