Seems pretty easy as long as you get most of the right pieces. Brady hasn’t been crushing Buffalo lately, but I really like him for the MVP slot tonight on FD. 350 with 3 TDs is my prediction.

    Value plays:
    Either Kicker
    Kelvin Benjamin
    Zay Jones
    Charles Clay
Andre Holmes (high risk, more of a salary saver option)

I’ll take a few shots on Barner. Although his upside may be limited if I think this is a Brady game, since I’m assuming White will still get the bulk of the targets.

    McCoy
    Gronk
    Gordon

All questionable, but I think they all play. Gronk would be the only one I’m not completely sure on though.

Edelman is my favorite play after Brady

    Kenyon Barner

I think tonight’s night is an ideal time to put Pats D at Captain. Allows you to stack the Pats and throw in a Buff player like McCoy. Patriots D could put up top 5 points without even being in the Captain spot against this team.

I’m trying to think of a contrarian – type Anderson/Benjamin/McCoy LU, but I just can’t see how Buffalo puts more than 10 points up. They are just that bad. Maybe contrarian tonight is fading WRs and sticking to RB/DST.

Barner is going to score at least one TD, at his price, its a steal. He had three goal line carries last week.

Worth a try but will probably need two scores out of the defense for it to work. Would then make sense to get Patterson in a lineup because if he returns one you get double the TD points.

Anything can happen in a single slate, playing an upset and siding with the underdog home team could win all the money. Otherwise it is just a chalky build and that will result in a lot of ties even if one finished 1st. The payout in these showdowns is pretty much winner takes all and the premium on a unique build.

Is bellicheck like Kerr and focus on players in their hometown? Example is Jordan Bell last year in Chicago. Will he force the ball to gronk?

  • ASitar

I’m going to have Gronk in a few. This is the kind of game he goes under the radar with the Q tag and gets 2 TDs. I do like McCoy, but I like Zay out of all Bills WRs. Gilmore will be on Benjamin which I think give Jones and maybe Clay more targets. Doing 4 LUs. Two that favor a Pats blowout, one balanced, and one favoring the Bills to keep it competitive using both QBs. If it’s a vanilla game and the Pats win 31-10 we’ll be super top heavy at the top.

    GL tonight

If he does, he’ll need to do it all in the 1st half. If game script stays true to Vegas’ prediction, Gronk would see limited usage in the 2nd half. Pats up big, ground and pound, no need to throw it. If they’re up really big, Gronk gets tons of rest, why risk him aggravating any of the 16 injuries he’s trying to recover from? lol

So yes, given that scenario, Gronk would be a sick contrarian play.

    What’s a Q tag?

Gronk is in absolutely no way a contrarian play.

I am going to rest him tonight…

Im going with James White for the captain – seems like he could have a 10 plus reception night with at least 1 TD

Josh Gordon suspended for one quarter of tonight’s game.

He will always be a moron. Telling that the Pats let out news yesterday that they’re looking for a receiver.

    I know but….

I’m not exactly sure what Gronkowski’s love of playing in Buffalo is about, but over seven games he’s averaging 104.3 receiving yards per game with seven touchdowns, per StatMuse.

Well that puts him back on my radar! Hopefully everyone sees this news, keep spreading it.

Nathan Peterman tonight. Should be a blow out, Pats D may rack up points in the first half. Derek Anderson is old and injury prone, what if they bench him in the 2nd quarter and Peterman gets a rushing TD and a passing TD

Obviously this is extremely unlikely, but to win these showdowns you have to look somewhere. I bet there’s a 10-20% chance that peterman plays, and if he does I like the less than 1% ownership Ill have him at.

Or, Anderson shocks the world and tosses 3 TDs and 300 yards lol!

Very possible. I just think its likelier he gets benched than has that kind of game. But hey, this is the team that destroyed the Vikings anything is possible

  • Beckhams3Fingers

The most obvious way to be contrarian tonight is to go against the game script, right? So basically stack BUF with NE Def or White. Every time I try to click on Anderson’s name and insert him in one of my LUs I get nauseous and throw up on my keyboard though.

  • ASitar

This game smells like the Vikings/Bulls game in week 3.
