NASCAR stages are just for more commercials. Kind of like Golf Channel slipping in a few shots in between commercials.

And they said the leader wouldn’t get away.

bad race. Needed Brad to win, not Joey.

Six entries into the fanduel contest because it was streak-eligible, got back $12.51

did not cash in the DK $150 (27/64 because I only had 40 laps led).

That was an awful race to watch. Too bad we’re probably stuck with this package all year.

If you think that was awful, you should watch the Las Vegas spring race last year. Sure, it wasn’t what everyone wanted but much better than last year on 1.5 mile track. I think the night races with this package will be the best.

Faded all the T9 drivers and ended up with a positive day fifty percent gain on entry fees. Biggest mistakes was no Stenhouse and very little Byron along with to much Newman. Not having Harvick or Ky Busch didn’t hurt and a Kes win verse Logano would have been better for me as I was 55% vs 25%.

Yeah the 2018 race was bad too but this isn’t the answer. Holding it wide open or nearly wide open isn’t racing. There was no sliding around, nobody looked on the edge of control, clean air is extremely important.

Taking horsepower away was a stupid idea from the beginning. Not sure why NASCAR thinks that’s the way forward.

LOOP DATA: Today’s race had 47 green flag passes for the lead all throughout the racetrack and 3,345 total green flag passes.

Both figures are MOST EVER at Las Vegas

For what it’s worth, I think this package will work a little better if they changed qualifying. There seemed to be more drafting toward last half when the like speed cars were together. Having the variation in speed/cars in the top 15-20 due to being able to draft in qualifying didn’t create the best conditions for the packs to create toward the front. Some cars dropped like rocks because they couldnt handle spreading out the field more.

Just my opinion. Overall it definitely improved the racing.

I don’t ever play NASCAR but I did today in only a double up on FD and scored 325.8 and took 1st out of 100 entires.

Out of curiosity how would have that fared in FD GPPs?
