Over/Under percent of lineups that start with Ky Busch and Harvick? I say over 20%….
    Individual Ky Busch ownership over/under 50%? I say 50%….
    Individual Harvick ownership over/under 45%? I say 45%….

  • starstx

    1. Over 20%
    2. Slightly under 50%
    3. Slightly under 45%

    All close IMO

DFS Strategy = Play 500 lineups, hit the nuts on one of them, claim genius like knowledge….lol

Over/Under of cars that finish the race = 24

Top 3 finishers 1. Hamlin 2. Keselowski 3. Kyle Busch

  • toasty99

Glanced here, been looking around, totally fading Denny Hamlin.

Why’s everyone overrating his plate skills so much?

He is good, but he isn’t so good that he is a definite winner like everyone thinks.

Hopefully he wrecks then I will be well on my way to cashing a lot.

Should the FanDuel strategy for this race be on place differential or finish placement?

How is running with no restricter plate gonna help or hurt these guys?

I’ve missed things. Whats going on with the no restrictor plate? I thought they had them for these.

  • BigRay

Daytona was the last plate race. They have removed them starting today and moving forward on the super speedways. The have changed the car with a huge spoiler to keep them on the ground and create more side by side racing.

  • Kassdog

From what I saw they didn’t get rid of the restrictor plate but modified it. Instead of the air coming through a straight cylinder shape it has a beveled edge allowing for more air and creating about 100 more horsepower.

Hamlin is starting 23rd. Any car thst doesn’t lose the draft has a shot at winning

well i guess it doesn’t matter a whole lot but 8 cars to the back.

NASCAR announced less than two hours before Sunday’s Cup series race that they were among eight penalized for unapproved adjustments.

That includes points leader Kyle Busch, Daytona 500 champion Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr. and Erik Jones from Joe Gibbs Racing. Roush Fenway’s Ryan Newman and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. also were penalized, along with Reed Sorenson and Cody Ware.

  • yisman

for me, it’s too tough to use both Kyle Busch and Harvick, so it’s choosing which one to leave off

I’m still new to NASCAR DFS – for the sake of fantasy scoring, will these guys starting positions change, or will their qualifying positions still be used? Seems like a pretty big negative if you qualify high and have to start from the back anyways.

  • tristanwolf

anyone else have an uncomfortable amount of chris buescher? and some clowns i hate playing have pretty decent recent history here like wrecky and menard.

    depends on the race

in this case, their qualifying positions are still used for scoring purposes

  • homers1226

    original positions
most of those guys qualified in the 20’s so it shouldn’t be a huge deal. a top 5 dropping down yes would be big, i’ll probably have a little less stenhouse (6) than i did before. but most of these cars are fast and should be back near original positions fairly quickly.

Thank you for reaching out. These drivers will be scored from their original qualifying position.

i would think stenhouse is biggest change
