Ten minutes until lock, I am sure most will miss this….

Three cars will start at the rear today for inspection failures related to the splitter: No. 11 Denny Hamlin, No. 18 Kyle Busch and No. 20 Erik Jones.

    WHo does this bump up?

If you multi entered and had Ky Busch you are probably going to a cheaper driver since Harvick is more expensive and you can’t auto swap him and have to do it all manually…..

  • Element5

I think it helps Harvick the most. He wont have Kyle Busch to battle up front to start with and should pass kurt busch and kes pretty fast

Correct they will all get points as they pass cars so they will go from negative points to positive points as they pass more….

  • mambaland

those drivers will get points as they pass cars though right? in other words they dont have to wait till they pass cars from where they were slated to start to gt those?

Correct they are…Ky Busch is a very bad play in my opinion presently….

They will all start in the negative points as I said above so yes they will get points as they pass toward their original position.

Played 2 entries and have Jamie McMurray in both so if you have him, sorry in advance….but be prepared for the red car next to his name

  • mambaland

not sure i follow that coop…a few weeks ago a guy got moved to back and everyone said he was a great play because he would gain position fast

  • Element5

Larson 62% in the piston. Faded him so hope that was the right move lol

  • homers1226

there saying this race could be over by 2nd stage due to weather

  • walkoff9

all in on hamlin, guess im done before it starts.

if they get moved to the back yesterday, their dk new position would reflect that like harvick was 39th last week and a near must play even though he ended up wrecking. if they get moved to the back today, dk keeps their number the same, so kyle bush has to get all the way from 37th or whatever to 3rd to be at even, thus is a bad play .

I am not sure why Truex is owned at almost the same percentage as Harvick….Truex has little dom potential while Harvick has a bunch..I get the place diff for Truex but Harvick should be owned at a much higher percentage…

  • jwayne1976

Mambaland: If, say, Kyle Larson was sent to the back and scored from 26th, he would still be a spectacular play because his value mainly comes from place differential and he would just drive by all the cars starting 26-40 as if they weren’t there. As such, this type penalty has no effect on him (or other starting in the 20s or thereabouts). Kyle’s value, however, is primarily as a dominator, and he is much much less likely to dominate starting from the back than he would be if starting 3rd. Therefore, the penalty has a real negative effect on his fantasy value. Hope this helps.

NASCAR currently estimates it will take about 45 minutes to dry the track.

I was surprised to with Harvicks ownership. I thought he would be 50+

  • mambaland

jwayne…larson would not get points for passing 40-26 if moved to back today…it would have to be yesterday if i am reading cooper correct…i understand the dom points but thought he would get the differential points but i guess he will not…unless he can stay out during pits and catch rain out
