Whiteside is quickly becoming a must-play for me, but I’m guessing he’ll be highly owned.

  • Trevorm09

Is it the regular season yet?! I had a great process yesterday and made it all the way up to 11th in the $4k pick and roll before ultimately running out of minutes (and Oladipo stinking). Played Demarre Carroll at 2% ownership and he had 33 points at half. Just unfortunate that the minutes are so hard to predict, but I’m going to keep grinding and working on my process to get a step ahead in the regular season.

For tonight I would imagine the Cavs starters will rest, making Bulls starters and Cavs bench guys like McRae intriguing.

I think a lot of people start fading McRae after he disappointed last night….which could make him a winning play today as it looks like the opportunity is going to be there and dude gets his shots.

True. Maybe D-Wade goes off again.

  • jkiefer300

I read that D-Wade will get one game of rest in the preseason. My guess would be that it will be the game in Milwaukee. They start a back to back tonight so I like wade tonight!

Wow, super surprised I actually cashed all my lineups especially with having Matt Barnes in most my lineups. Can’t believe they scratched him.

  • terrypercs

did horribly last night but only because I ran out of data and couldnt switch out Boogie when I was driving around last night. Whatever though , I did really well the night before and I’m looking forward to tonight.

    PS: Oubre smh

  • frugal

Did well last night, partly due to getting into some late DK contests after news of Boogie being out. Leur and Baynes both hitting 6x certainly helped offset Oubre’s stinker. Onto tonight!

As a huge Mavs fan the early news is Barea is out and Mejri is probably (not official status, but RC stated earlier this week he thought Mejri would be available tonight). Barea being out opens up minutes for Curry in a great match up. If Mejri plays, that might take some minutes from Powell, however I thought the same when Dirk made his debut last game and Powell still did very well in 19 minutes. In fact Powell has led the Mavs in scoring the last 2 games. The Mav to play the most minutes last game was DWill at a paltry 21, but again has a great matchup tonight.

EDIT: Just built a preliminary lineup and pricing is getting tight on DK.

  • TommyWantWingy33

Went out last night and didn’t get boogie out of my LU’s =/ gonna have to work on which coaches to trust in the regular season. As for tonight. Some pacers regulars, Devon booker looks to be s stud every night. Nuggets bigs? Whiteside against the spurs?

  • scsa0096

All over Nurkic tonight in my GPP as he rested last game and Whiteside’s ownership will be high.

I’m done worrying about ownership. These tourneys aren’t big enough to be concerned about duplicate lineups if you’re differentiating in a couple spots.

Feels like Trying to be too cute worrying about ownership leads me away from plays that make more sense ends up hurting my construction. Just my opinion of course

This is an extremely true statement that so many people get wrong.

You don’t need to be ultra contrarian to have a unique lineup even in huge tournaments. A very small amount of differentiation will make your lineups unique on nights where there are like 4, or 5+ games.

Yeah I would say only worry about ownership on smaller slates. It only takes one position to differ your line up too. Or leave a little extra salary on the table. But I think your right worrying about ownership should never conflict with building a good line up.

got destroyed last night. need regular season to start…

  • stats99tuff

took 7th last night in the four point play… the main thing is if somebody was chalky last time and didn’t do anything play them right back… lower ownership… ISH smith prime example… knew he was starting, $4,900 on DK, I like my odds lol

  • moped_jones

I’m ready to get back on track after having two DNP’s each of the last two nights. I can’t wait for the regular season to start so I can start winning again. I suck at preseason. It’s too unpredictable. It’s like baseball.

  • stats99tuff

1st name that jumps off… Elfrid payton… played terrible last game… will have low ownership… if he is starting tonight im going for it..

I agree .. gotta take chalk when you can then add in a dart with guaranteed minutes and high usage.

  • mattyice522

elfrid smh. cant bring myself to do that

Lots of value on the Cavs tonight.

Agreed. Gonna be one of those games/lineups to wait and see who sits and who starts.

For the Cavs, I think it’s going to be very easy to predict. The chalk plays are Felder and McRae. However, the fowards might even be a better play with the additional salary relief and a similar upside.
