Frazier started twice earlier this year and did nothing while playing low minutes. He’s started in previous years and had big games, but also did nothing more often. I get he was min. priced, but still. Holiday, Randle, Mirotic, AD were all healthy to soak up usage. If Holiday was also out I understand.

Come on…you sound a little salty for having no Frazier….no one was expecting a 42 spot who started Frazier. Yet calling a 3k starting point guard against the Wizards a bad play just isn’t true. I one offed Frazier in 1 of 7 lineups. So it’s not like I was all in here. Yet he wasn’t a bad play. He was a punt, like one of the 20 others people used tonight.

He started like twice earlier this year his best game he played like 30 minutes and scored like 18 DK points. Yet if you were trying to get AD and Harden in all your lineups like I was going to Frazier in a lineup or 2 made sense.

I’ve got DeAndre Ayton at 2.5%, but I don’t know how much good it will do me since Harden was 40%+ owned again and I had two players get injured apparently.

  • Beckhams3Fingers

Warren and Booker are both confirmed as starting.

Welp, guess my Crawford/J Jackson LUs will be sick contrarian plays… if I can get lucky AF lol

I’m not sure I follow your line of thinking at all. At $3900, avg 35 minutes last 3 games with a 10x ceiling, how could you not love Ryan as a GPP play?? His stock is surging. All the makings for an absolute smash game dude. He was an easy plug n play for me in 40% of my LUs.

Absolutely had him in 100% of lineups tonight.

  • AVivier

Only did the late slate and the late showdown, that was a long mad rush trying to figure out who is even playing. NBA needs to do this better somehow.

    Wall doesn’t play D
    Wizards on the road
    Blowout potential with ad back
    Revenge
    Fine play

My single lineup today had Marvin Williams, Nance, and Matthews in it. This is how you build winners, folks. Holy crap I got shit on tonight lol. On to tomorrow!

Man I love to play but I’m honestly starting to dislike this “who is in and who is out”.

NBA DFS is a full time job. If you can’t spend your whole day on it, then perhaps it is just better to play a little for fun and leave it st that.

There is no skill involved with the player question marks and such. As much as I hate to agree with some of the opposers…perhaps it is just gambling…

It’s more so an NBA issue than anything else. There’s no reason why the league can’t enforce a stricter policy on reports.

DFS definitely isn’t just gambling, even if there’s the seemingly random outcomes. I’d imagine that there’s the keys to nailing the perfect lineup and plays for any given slate, but there’s a lot of “noise” in the way of it. Sucks to be on the bad end of late scratches and unscratches, but it’s the product of a poorly regulated aspect of the sport, not DFS.

Shld have gone with Jarell Martin, he did good last time

  • BBWC_10

Another Stars and Scrubs night.. So far the perfect DK LU is Frazier, Harden, Osman, Hezonjia, Gobert, RWB, Oubre, Archi. for 411.

I get he was min. priced, but still. Holiday, Randle, Mirotic, AD were all healthy to soak up usage. If Holiday was also out I understand.

RG did crap all over him so maybe that’s what kept Frazier’s ownership low:

“Jackson’s role in the rotation has been sporadic, at best, but his absence will clear the way for Frazier to see meaningful minutes as the starting point guard in tonight’s contest, which will send Wesley Johnson to resume a reserve role and enable Jrue Holiday to play off the ball a bit more often than he has in recent games. Frazier has played more than 21 minutes just once all season, so this news doesn’t mean he’s automatically locked into a starters’ minute workload alongside Holiday in the backcourt. On top of that, he has just a 12.7% usage rate and is averaging only 0.67 DraftKings and 0.66 FanDuel points per minute on the season, making him a pretty unappealing punt option in tournaments.”

    No.
    True.
    So?
Why would Frazier be certain to get run in a blowout?
Had a chance for revenge against Portland in one of his 2 starts this year and did nothing.
    Eh.

What’s the point of the NBA even having injury designations at this point? There seems to be no guideline to them at all. They just randomly come out at any time in the day, or sometimes not at all. Who are teams trying to inform with the designations? Fans? Opposing Teams? Bettors? I don’t get it.

Well aside from all that there are still other gambling aspects, you have games that you don’t even have players in that affect you winning or losing. If you had no Den – LAL last night it was not skill that Denver laid the biggest loss on Lakers in their history. I didn’t read any touts LeBron would score 0 points in the second half.

Could it be as simple as requiring final reports by 90-120 minutes before lock or something? It just seems like the NBA season is too long and frequent for players now and there’s too much asked out of teams apparently

also don’t get ppl using BOTH in the same lineup. totally baffling. has me speechless.

I see a few of those at the top and it looks like people were committed to a Westbrook/Harden pairing and were jamming in anyone they could fit that would get minutes. You’ve got a G and a UT slot and $7k to fill them—what are you going to do?

I tend to build my lineups from the bottom up. But some people think from top down, and from that perspective I can see how they wound up playing them.

Me as well. It’s getting pretty maddening. But this has been going on for years and I am not sure what the answer is. Even late swap doesn’t even help sometimes.

  • Beckhams3Fingers

    J. Simmons going to destroy my night cap LUs. Fitting end to a horrific Wed of NBA. Complete blood bath.

  • Benf15harp

Yes he’s average 14.5fp as a starter this season and this was by far the best matchup
    Wizards 2-8 on the road
Frazier’s only gotten mins in blowouts this season minus a couple starts plus frank Jackson was out
Just played for wizards last season
Hasn’t played for Portland in 3 years
    Get with it homie

frazier/ arcidianaco stacks on FD make me really scratch my head…thats almost too slick…..just has me wonderin’

that was a great play on FD where the lowest score is dropped. If those are your 2 cheap guys you’re not sure of, only need one of them to hit 20 to cash. For gpp only need one of them to hit 30ish. Frazier was 50% owned in cash
