I think they guy you are going to want in addition to Brown is Jeff Teague.

Zubac gets Kanter D. Not sure if he gets any extra run on the B2B considering Ibaka’s only been playing 20, but Zu could pay off that 4.2K on FD pretty quickly.

Have you heard Bird talk about the toll it took and his and his teammates bodies? Most the guys from that period have lots of physical issues in their retirement. The players today are playing smart to ensure their bodies hold up as they age.

I won’t get that specific, but these guys are soft relative to athletes of the 80s and 90s. They are monsters and super hard compared to people on this board who take shots at them, including me.

I think Brad has already figured out, like numerous coaches before him, that he doesn’t like Teague much.

Back when I was a kid, we would have 10 pages of ‘get off my lawn’ posts up by now. Uphill, both ways! AND WE LIKED IT.

Where you at ITMVP? I thought all systems a go with Brad? Just playing by the way.

Haha it’s all good. Still think Tatum plays. Thompson of course they are going to monitor closely so that’s not a surprise

I hit on my free FD bucks so looks like another few shots in that lotto tonight. Love Theis at 3.9K on the B2B after TT played so much.

Edit: Just saw TT’s out, brain’s a little slow this morning.

Like him a bunch with no TT and possibly no Tatum. So cheap and has flashed some upside in the past when they’re down a few bigs. Like him, brown and smart if Tatum is out.

  • dominicanpapi

Going to throw this out there as someone who most likely will play JVal in a 3 max, but if Tatum is out or even if he plays, there is a good possibility Boston goes small. So in a non-JVal lineup, I may play Brandon Clarke for instance.

As far as load management it is my opinion that the organizations have medical teams that carry a lot more weight than we think and know all about their contracts, injury history etc and it is fluid so when a Jayson Tatum plays 40 minutes and is entering a three in four he automatically pops up on the injury report. At that point the coach can override the Q tag but if the guy tears an ACL then it is the coaches head.

0 U 34 minutes ago Love a Heat starters stack tonight if Butler is in. I’m surprised to hear that people were on Dragic last night, Miami is unique in that when Butler sits almost everyone else suffers aside from Herro who’s usage skyrockets. I think if Butler plays Bam will have a monster game. Bucks still can’t defend the paint and he only played 25 minutes last game. Butler

Dragic was a good play until he wasn’t starting. I unfortunately missed that news. If he starts tonight and the game doesn’t get stupid out of control again, he’ll likely do better than Herro. He’ll run the offense and garner more usage than Herro.

And Butler didn’t slow Middleton in the playoffs last year, Middleton was dominant. Yet Butler does make the whole defense and team better.

    Sooo…
    Dragic starting/competitive game….Dragic>Herro

Dragic not starting/ non competive game..Herro>Dragic

More avenues to Herro’s success yet in a close competitive game the Dragon will spit fire.

It’s Lebron one of the most dramatic athletes in the world. Yes, I think he cares about his birthday. It’s a day all about him.

LBJ’s usage jumps an average of 4% on his birthday.
    https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/lebron-james-dk-game-log-with-usage-on-december-30

He has had spike games against MIN and ATL on his birthday. And he has had meets-value games without 5.5x or 6x “profit” as well. His last two were 51.5 and 52.5 dk fpts, but UTA and DEN, respectively.

Follow up on my reply to RipCityRings….

Actually….Dragic rarely starts in these situations…I went and checked.

The game was just a blowout and Spo chose not to run his 35 year old point guard in a lost game.

Yet he has hung 50 🍔 in these spots off the bench last year. But you’re right Herro is the safer play, and usually does very well when Butler is out.

Yet to say Dragic was a bad play for 5800 when he’s shown 50 point upside multiple times in this spot is incorrect.

  • dame_face_420

My sportsbook gave me a free $100 bet, looking to play a fairly safe parlay. MIL -6, BKYN ML, LAL ML
Any objections? Seems like a night to bet favorites. The homer in me is very tempted to juice it up with POR ML but that loss LAC took and Kawhi potentially playing keeping me off it.

I know this is a dfs forum but lotta good bball minds in here just thought I’d throw it out there.

This is completely false according to CourtIQ. Per last season’s numbers, Dragic gets the biggest usage bump with no Jimmy, and Bam’s FPPM gets a big boost from 1.12 to 1.31. Herro gets a usage bump for sure but saying he is the only one who benefits is incorrect. Dragic should definitely bounce back tonight, just a matter of minutes but he still can get there with 27-29 minutes and he should be motivated one would think.
