I am going back to the well on Dragic. Maybe I’m a masochist. But if he was good enough for me last night then he should be again today. That’s a mistake I used to make a lot. Cashed every entry last night with him and Blake getting hurt.

Another one is last minute changes based on news. I almost made some major switches when Delon Wright was announced coming off the bench Tuesday. But every other piece in my line I liked so I stuck with it. The line-up crushed except for Morant got hurt but still cashed half my entries.

I think each person has to figure out where they make their own mistakes and work on fixing those. The rest is just DFS.

Last one, I always make my lineup before checking this thread or any projection models. If I want to make changes then I keep my original and add additional lineups. I usually wind up with 2-5 that I enter but always my original. That’s the one I find differentiates me from the pack. Nothing worse than knowing you switched out some great plays.

It is 4:25pm and there is likely to be a lot of news left today. You mean you’ve already made your lineup, since you have checked this thread today. Just curious.

Was Nunn’s output strictly a bi-product of a blow out?

    Thanks

Yes. Played the entire 2nd half with the blowout squad. Closer game and those minutes go to Dragic. Although Spo did mention before yesterdays game that he would be needed bc of the Butler injury.

Two things. #1 That Lebatard thing has got to be a joke going after Hilary Baldwin. And #2 Dragic is a bust again tonight. But then again so will be Giannis in a Bucks 30 point win.

I love nba dfs, but say what you will about skill, data, analysis and projections – it mostly comes down to luck and having a big enough bankroll

Agree, I pulled all of my money out of FanDuel and left just enough in DraftKings today to play a se football this weekend and take 1 last shot today on nba. Hopefully I win something but if I don’t I’m done until Daytona.

Yes. Spoelstra gave up, sat Dragic for rest of game and gave Nunn meaningless minutes. Hey, could happen again tonight with the Bucks looking strong. Unless they sit Giannis and someone else…….

When the math adds up to you having 25% Trey Burke

    Do I have this right?

    Kawhi out = play Batum
    JRich out = play DFS
    Tatum out = play Smart/Brown
    Gallinari out = play Hunter
    LBJ out = play Kuzma
    LMA out = play Gay

Max enter the nickel contest on FD for a week or two… only 7.50 a day so you should have the bankroll for it. Come back in a week and let us know how much you lost and then we can talk about this again :)

Bucks are not winning by 40 again .. they may not cover the 6 point spread.

    Gallo is probable.

If LMA is out, it’s Poeltl but foul trouble is a huge concern.

LBJ out, you play Schroeder and Kuzma IMO.

Back in the 80’s, we would do cocaine with the players and DFS was done on the same paper. We paid each other in blood, and never stopped competing.

    That’s just my game.

P.S. DK Sportsbook has a CBB promotion (for me, anywho): 100% profit boost.

Cam Reddish best shooting games and highest minuets last year came vs the Nets. They’re gonna need his size and D against KD tonight. 4400 with dual G/F eligibility is probably my favorite play under 5k tonight.

Anyone looking at derrick jones on FD? He likes to pop off for 35+ sometimes, maybe tonight?

  • captainwacky

I also like that everyone on a fantasy sports message board believes they are fiercer competitors than people who had to work their asses off to be in the top couple hundred basketball players in the world. I play through injuries every week to play effing pickup basketball in my 30’s and would fight someone who tried to stop me. You think the load management stuff is reflective of what players want?

Melo is probably back tonight, so that will cut into DJJs minutes at the 3/4.

Regarding JRich, I think that would be a bigger boost to THJ than DFS and of course whoever starts in his place.

As a plumber i work through crazy injuries constantly. Tendinitis out the ass. Constant ankle sprains/pulled muscles/etc from basketball and the gym.
I won’t even mention the emotional pain i go through lol.

But just plumbing alone……no one ever lets me rest…….or even gives a shit about me.

Shots fired. Feels like defenders are figuring out Zions game. Should have made him drop another 20 lbs and turn him into a PG.

I mean, if your VORP was higher, then maybe they would ;)

That’s what I was alluding to, though- these guys are assets to their teams, and monumental investments at this point in time. Teams want their gazillion dollar a year players staying healthy into the playoffs and for the life of the contracts they sign. Sports medicine has shown that rest is imperative to optimal performance, and so they listen. I was sat against my will once in my competitive career, and didn’t talk to my coach for two days. These guys (or most) are more competitive than me, I promise.

Good point. Basketball is a physical sport with a lot of wear and tear
