I saw like three different apps in the app store, do you know which one it is?

Search “Yahoo fantasy” in the app store. On the app icon (or whatever you call that little square) you’ll see a trophy on top of “Yahoo!”.

    That’s the one I have, I think.

Glass cost a lot more than KAT but it would’ve been a 1 v 1 at that point

    My yahoo scores with KAT over Glass would’ve been 308.3 294.6 297.4 312.7 310.3 314.9 301.9 305.8 314.6 314.9

Spent all that time adjusting my original lineup so as not to have a train. What a waste of time and money.

Did u see where Lebron said he cemented his GOAT status by coming back & beating the Warriors down 3-1? Does he forget he had Kyrie & Kevin Love? What a joke. Lost a lot of respect for him. That team didn’t even have KD.

I can’t stand LeBum even more now

I think in general people greatly underestimate randomness in life, let alone randomness and variance in sports. When we win big, were we just plain lucky and randomness ? Or was it a skilled LU construction ? Or both ? When we win lose, then most dismiss it as bad luck or bad variance etc… It is a skilled game, but has elements of chance, luck and randomness in it too just as life. Anyone that plays DFS seriously. should read extensively on randomness as a subject.

    Book: Fooled By Randomness.

Anyone here follow my advice and bet Venus Williams? Or no? Lol

very nice back to back with only 1 lineup

    Wow.

    Nice SA stack.

Never would have gone that route.

    What got you on them?

  • RandysCrow

Sixers is the late game and starts 90 minutes later than any other game on the slate…

    Embiid questionable lol

    Also

    Rubio – Q
    Mudiay – Q
Allen – Q (who cares though)
    G Harris – Q
    Crowder – Q
    Harkless – Q
    Kanter – Q
    M Robinson – Q

And that is not even counting who wakes up hungover

For some reason when I try to add funds to Yahoo it just goes to a blank screen on the app, any ideas on why that could be?

For as low as the total is I like a lot of pieces from the MEM/HOU game. Not sure how to feel about that.

Really nice call if yuo identified the correct pieces…

For what it’s worth, on DK I’m liking balanced lineups better today. I don’t think any of the high price studs are must owns or get much over 60 tonight but what do I know? Have a lineup with House as my lowest player at $4,300 and highest at Conley at $7,600 and I’m liking it. Having said that watch Towns/Brow/Harden go for 70 each, lol.

you werent far off… if AD had played and gone for 70 you were spot on

Pricing discrepancies between sites are super important, and that MEM/HOU games proves it.

On DK, 7 players from that game made value.

On FD, Just Harden, and he wasn’t even in the winning LU.

  • fleishmo6

Explain why on the Fanduel Sportsbook where in New Jersey sports betting is now legal
I emptied my account of 200 bucks bet a prop bet on Todd Gurley o/u yards rushed in the game knowing he would not play .
Fanduel took the bet then did not pay me on my under wager.
They voided the bet saying he did not play.
Explain the difference but they took my line ups last night with AD as well as many times in the past? I am ok with my DFS choice being in play but
IMO they should have honored bets on Gurley just like any game with missing players in all sports when players sit out or get injured .
FD should have to be held accountable for its lines as we pay the price when changes occur that do not benefit us the consumer.

Just goes to show you how tight fd pricing is. They have really tightened their pricing. Makes it more difficult for roster construction. Add in dropped lowest score and you really have so many options. I love the challenge. Guess I’m in the minority.

So you tried to swindle the site by betting a prop on a guy you knew wasn’t going to play.

    Is that right?

  • fleishmo6

No I thought he would not play did not know that definitely just a very strong hunch once they picked up CJ Anderson off of the street
He was probable, but in my mind it was as strong a lock as could be.

You said you knew he wasn’t going to play.

Now you’re saying you thought he wouldn’t play.

Big difference between knowing and thinking.

    Which is it?

Did you read here…. pretty sure somewhere there is their coverage for voiding the bet…

    https://myaccountmobile.fanduel.com/viewTerms.do

Also not really comparable sports betting to dfs……betting directly against house…. vs dfs they collect a management fee and facilitate a contest between all contestants who have same option of selecting all players….
    Very different

  • fleishmo6

I did not know he was not going to play wrong choice of words but my point is why is that different than when it happens in DFS . Again, I am not saying my DFS monies should be refunded as to me each bet/game I make decisions based on what I think sometimes correctly sometimes incorrectly. But same logic should be in my scenario. When we get an update about a player not playing or probable and we pivot to a very low cost now starter who smashes we benefit on our pregame knowledge it is no different.
If Fanduel is not as observant as the general public they should not be able to call off the bet

    Definitely not the same.

It should be pretty simple when it comes to prop bets.

If the player is announced as out before the game starts (which you know well ahead of time in NFL), then any bets made on that player should be voided and returned to the bettor (which is what happened in this case). If the player starts and gets injured on the 1st play, the bet should still stand.

I bet you’d be singing a different tune if you didn’t know/think Gurley wasn’t playing, bet the over on the prop bet, and FD kept your bet even when he didn’t play.
