It has now went from just me being in 1st place to the “pro” to three people in 1st place with 320.2. I still added up my players with their stats with the fan duel scoring and I am still getting 321.5 but now my score says 312 even though the stats add up to 321.5. Something crazy is going on with Fan Duel’s system tonight. I am telling everyone it ended with me in 1st place. I am not sure what is happening I am just stating what I see.

you never answered my question. What would they have to gain?

And maybe you should wait for an explanation before running to the authorities.

The last thing DFS needs is more feds and state lawmakers nosing around looking to discredit the industry so their buddies in the lotto, casino, and racing industries can shut it down.

None of this makes sense. Please provide screenshots via imgur or tell us your roster. Preferably the former.

    Yes.

Well, looking at the two screenshots I took, two of my players, whose game was at 6pm tonight, had points taken away after the Sacramento/New Orleans game. Ish Smith and Derozan. Smith went from 34.5 points to 29.5 points. Derozan went from 42.9 to 37.4. Fan Duel took those points away 5 hours later and after the final game.

  • tmarohl

I just found your lineup and it equals 312. While there may have been a stat correction on a rebound, steal or turnover, there were not stat corections that would have dropped you 9.5 points.

You said you were by yourself.I literally click on 2 random lineups at 312 and had exactly your lineup.sure that water you had tonight wasn’t vodka….

I had DD in a lineup and I also lost a few bucks and his points.

Here is whay you need to understand. FD didn’t take away anything, STATS made a correction.

  • Lathum

    from the FD TOS

    “Scoring Revisions
During every game, we receive live scoring from one of our stats providers. After each game has ended, we receive the final box score, and settle all the contests. On rare occasions, the final box scores are revised after they have been released. When that happens, the player scores on FanDuel will not be updated and the settlements will not be revised. Note that this is not the same situation as a case where a correction needs to be made after settlement due to a problem with the data feed or the settlement process. In these cases the settlement process (including payment) may be reversed and games resettled correctly.”

ESPN Stats show Ish Smith with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assist, 1 block and 1 turnover which = 29.5 FD points.
    Derozan shows 26 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 2 turnovers which = 37.4

My guess is the stat provider credited those stats originally to the wrong players and later corrected them.

NBA needs to find a way to speed up the end of games. Does each team really need 9 time out, or whatever it is? The end of these games are painful.

They need to allow more physicality too.I would love to see russell go at zaza or adams at green

When you hit a big win in this do you get paid out at the same time as small wins ?

Yep. No possible way. Now sometimes I’ve had the app show me a mix between two different slates. You would see crazy drops and raises on all the scores and it was like wtf? It’s a slight bug that I thought they would have squashed by now but if you were using the android app like me and were switching between different slates when checking the scores… that could possibly be what happened? Not saying it’s right and definitely not perfect but quite possibly what happened here. Registered your score from one slate into a different slate which made the software think you were in a position that you really weren’t in. Sucks, but pretty sure that’s what happened. Always check your laptop, always found that to be accurate consistently.

My highest was like 6500. Paid out by morning. Money was in PayPal the next day. Not sure about wins over 10K as they may have different rules.

  • KindGuy

In a little bit of a cold streak. Haven’t cashed in NBA since Wednesday and still haven’t had that big score yet this season. This week is gonna be make it or break it for me. Last game before the all star break is on Thursday. If I don’t make consistent progress this week I might just stop with NBA and focus solely on Soccer and NHL because as this point NBA is just slowly draining my bankroll.

I had a 15K win and a 12.5K win in the last year on FD. Both were NBA. In each case I stayed up because I was so excited to wait until my winnings were finalized. In both cases they were credited to my balance within about two hours. In both cases I then took Paypal withdraws and they were processed within 24 hours.

That’s great guys I would love to win big just once

Still waiting for the big one. Last year I won 15K taking third in the FD Slam. I took third by about 5 points if I recall. The two guys in front of me had no players left. I had Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. Both were pulled with about 4 minutes to go because the game was a blowout. Those guys play another minute and I probably take first for 40K instead of 15K. I’m not complaining though as 15K paid for a lot of home improvements :)

Single entries are really more profitable I came to realize

I agree. I played the $5 assist tonight for the main…..min cash was 3x entry for $15. Not sure if its always like that but if say that’s a great min cash lol

If you don’t mind me asking how harsh were the taxes? Or can you opt to pay tax at time of withdrawal?

  • oaktwnraidr

Hopefully I hit a big pot one night…currently highest I’ve ever won was like 400. That was in Hockey…which I am probably better at than Basketball fantasy wise as far as cashing but I know more about basketball by a wide margin….go figure.

I’m just always thatvone player away from a solid line up this whole weekend was tough from b knight — to Leuer today it was brutal —and the rest of my guys did fine — well one day if I stick with it hopefully it will happen

They don’t tax you. You need to figure out your own tax liability based on your income and tax rates. It is different for everyone based on your circumstances. I personally put 35% of my winnings away in a bank account for tax liability. It is not until that nasty 1099 Misc comes at the end of the year and shows your winnings. If you get lucky and hit something big, It can be quite the surprise if you didn’t save some of your winnings for the tax man.

I like Drummond more than Superman he had 60 against the bucks earlier in the season

Monroe and Drummond have kind of a rivalry and they go at each other hard. Might not be the worst decision to play them both.
