Magic at home can’t beat an Embiidless 76ers team.

what a shitty slate. i canned half my LU’s wish i had just pulled the plug on all of them lol

people get tired, you ever play 2.5 hours of basketball 2 days in a row?

I hope you’re kidding. Half these guys played every day from sun up to sun down on concrete. Now most can’t do 30 minutes in b2b games. I understand a lot of that is coaches and organizations, but I’ve seen players cry about being tired in b2b, even when both are home games.

  • tonytone1908

Honestly I think it may still be possible to cash on the FD late night with Crowder, Barnes ain’t doing squat so it might not kill you too bad. My only late LU without him has ISO Joe and he’s outscoring Barnes so far. Was all over Roberson in the main slate so hopefully he has a nice 2nd half.

I guess it depends how high the ownership is. Running on one leg in a sprint right now.

    You people need some perspective.

He was called back to Texas for what is likely a severe family emergency, but by all means be pissed about your $19 while someone from this mans family is likely dying.

NO LOVE NO GPP win looks like Powerforward will win it

I easily cashed last night with a 4 .6 last night from that hack Kelly Oubre. I am in a pretty good spot tonight with Korver in a L/u and Russ plus Dame, CJ, and Harkless still to go.

The anger has nothing to do with Crowder or his family…it’s just another incident of DK displaying why this isn’t a so-called “game of skill” when there have been late scratches left & right lately and there’s nothing people can do about it without the late swap feature

lol people aren’t mad at Crowder, it’s the late swap on DK brah. I’m just glad I bet very small tonight. I had a bad feeling about this slate.

  • jjehoich

Looks like LBJ is running the point, I bet Korver gets some looks now!!

  • draggin49

How do dfs sites benefit from late scratches?

A conspiracy theorist might offer up a few scenarios that most would scoff at, but…..one theory might be that of the DFS sites having LU’s of their own entered that they manipulate based on late news or whoever’s going off on a particular night? I know, silly huh? As for the no customers = no business, they know it can all end at any moment (and likely will) so what’s the risk again? Public humiliation? Who cares when you’ve got millions stashed away. For those that couldn’t comprehend them cheating, well it’s happened before with fantasy sports sites as well as online poker and casino games and they’ve got away with it for years.

it’s not about players crying – players will play on a B2B for their team, and play hard, but they get tired – you ever play bball 2 days in a row for 2 hours each time or not?

    Korver is tired.

He’s not a good player to begin with, plus most who had him prob expected the big 3 to sit. Someone like harden, westbrook, ect overcome the B2B aspect because they are superhuman athletes that do not have rules applied to them lol

    lol.

I suggest you read the thread about the DFS bill in Oregon and how it could be really bad. The next day I was on the phone with my representative explaining to her why it would hurt the industry and the people who love this as a hobby.

    I have plenty of perspective.

None of it has to do with Crowder or the Celtics.

They could have let this news out at a normal time that he wasn’t even with the team I totally agree with that , it does feel shady

Seriously??? It sucks (for those of us w/Crowder), but it’s far from shady. Pretty sure the Boston Celtics give less than a damn about the people that may have rostered Crowder in DFS tonight. They released the information more than 90 minutes before tip-off, which is 30 minutes earlier than the NBA requires if they actually wanted to place him on the inactive list (inactive lists are set at one hour before tip-off). I would think Crowder being scratched has a much bigger impact on sportsbooks, and the millions who place wagers on NBA games around the country…

Either way, Boston could care less about the “relatively” small number of people that had Crowder in their DFS lineups.

  • jjehoich

Lets go Korver, bang those 3’s!!! Just need like 8 more bruh!
