    All the Salah Mejri

Last matchup he played 11:53 in an OT game. No interest unless he gets the start.

  • Supersharpie

    Frye/Vuc or Amir/Gobert for GPP?

  • Grnmasheen

Is it possible Nerls starts tonight to slow down Vuc or am I having a hangover from slotting Nerls in my 313 DK lineup last night?

Where’s superbuckswild been with his analysis?

Assuming Lue follows through with resting the big 3, I’m counting 9 available players for the Cavs tonight..

    Guards:
    Liggins, Felder, McRae, Korver

    Forwards / Centers
    Thompson, Frye, Jones, Jefferson, Andersen

Andersen hasn’t seen the court since 12/14, the last time the Cavs rested the big 3… and Richard Jefferson has played 30 minutes just 3 times this season

The values pretty much all busted last time, but that game was against Memphis.

I’m seeing huge upside for Felder, McRae, and Frye, but I’m not huge on Korver as he’s not a guy that is going to dominate the ball or dish out a bunch of assists.

They’re probably all tourney-only plays, but I think you should take your chances with one of the guards there (not named Liggins) in most of your tourney lineups.

Anderson is out for the year. And they signed derek williams. Not sure how much he ll play. McRae and frye are the best plays, and felder is good to. Tristan thompson is worth a look.

The issue with the Cavs B-team is the issue James has been complaining about, lack of play makers. Frye should be a value lock tonight if there was a good guard (or 2) with some strong dribble penetration skills and the ability to get him the ball, just not sure that will be the case tonight.

Might just lock Roberson and Harkless in at SF on FD gpps for all the value and build from there. Pay up at PG and C and likely Harden over RWB due to PG stronger, as usual.

That’s what I ended up doing at SF.

For me, Thompson is a must play if Cleveland’s “big 3” rests. I’m pretty sure most people here already know that though. It’s a pretty obvious move. Hopefully they rest so I can play Felder as well. He keeps popping up in my optimals.

Awwwww little soft Aaron Gordon is out for tonight

Looks like Zeller is going to play tonight.

How bad does this hurt Williams. I think it just puts Frank the Tank out of the question right?

    Thanks for information guys!

Yes I really enjoy his analysis. He has helped me out with my cash games for sure.

Going off topic but does anyoneknow what went on with Charles Oakley behind the Knicks bench last nigh?. There was some kind of altercation and he was escort and he had to be physically restained by the security staff

    Damn you Zeller, ruining everything.

I’ve gotta run numbers, but I doubt my spreadsheet will like many if anyone from that game. I realize a few players will still have good games, but I’ve found I do best by focusing purely on the projected performances rather than trying to be sneaky or worrying about ownership percentage. I focus on consistent profitability rather than the boom and bust game of trying to win 1st.

I like that perspective. I need to learn how to build a spreadsheet that helps me with my projections. Not a clue where I should begin.

  • Spider2YBannana

definitely playing IT and Harden today and filling around them, whos got worth in the mid tier guards? Smart, gordon or wes ?

is zeller an option at 4800?

  • Ryan61290

With all the value on the board in Cleveland, it’s hard not to play at least 3 Cavs..

I’ll stop spamming the thread about it now and get back to strategy.

Yeah…I don’t like that situation with the big 3 listed as doubtful rather than out and the Celtics catching up to the Cavs in the East. Something feels weird here as we’re very close to the ASB where they’ll all get rest. Doesn’t make any sense to rest all 3 of them and forfeit tonight. I’d understand 1 of the 3 were out or if it came out that minutes would be monitored, but all 3 out? I have a feeling we’re going to be in for a reverse-Pop tonight…

I don’t know why TT is the obvious play, please elaborate on why you feel strongly about him. Thanks

Harkless announced as the starter tonight for POR

Man the Derrick Williams signing in Cleveland doesn’t sit well with me either. If they’re basically forfeiting, Williams will likely see more minutes than Frye. What a crappy slate…

we should hear plenty of time before lock. its not like its an injury. if he is going to rest them he will let them know as early as he can bc the whole point of resting is that you don’t get ready to play.

IMO there is no way derrick wlliams plays more than 10-15 mins.

Unless we get something like “the big 3 are available to play if needed”. Way too much uncertainty for me right now to commit to any plays.

again I don’t see this being a problem. this isn’t an injury. the whole point of rest is to either take the whole game off or else you are going to play it like normal.
