WHITTLE IT DOWN: FD GPP Monday MArch 18th 2019
    By: Ghostfacekicker

Keep in mind the high dollar value players are always a threat to go off, and chalky players are always a treat to be a bust. The list below are my personal top picks for each position, FD GPP. I do target playing chalk necessarily, but I do not deliberately seek pivots to avoid the chalk. Play these players at your own risk. If you take my advice and win money please shot me out on the board and “thumbs up” my contribution. Thanks! – Ghost

    PG
    1. Melton – $3,800
    2. Mudiay – $4,900
    3. Jackson – $5,600
    4. Curry – $9,400
    5. Brunson – $6,100

    SG
    1. Schroeder – $6,000
    2. Thompson – $8,400 (always a dud risk but he’s been on fire over the last four games)
    3. I don’t like SG today will have to pay up for Thompson or higher most likely.

    SF
    1. Bridges – $5,100
    2. Hood – $4,100 (assuming he starts for McCollum)
    3. Barton – $5,900
    4. George – $11,200 (MIA is good defending SF but no Westbrook and close line)
    5. Jones Jr. – $3,500 (punt price commands attention)
    6. Hezonja – $3,800 (floor price, did well starting Sunday after not playing for a month, and Leonard is out. Risky due to possible blowout)

    PF
    1. Powell – $6,600 (NO has been horrible defending opposing front court player and Davis is on a minutes cap)
    2. Siakam – $8,300 (blowout risk but the Knicks are horrible and both Leonard and Ibaka are out)
    3. Davis – $8,000 (risky with minutes cap but Dal is in the bottom tier at defending opposing PFs and Davis can still hit 5x in 22 minutes)
    4. Adebayo – $5,800 (passed Whiteside in depth chart and should be a close Westbrook-less game)
    5. Jackson – $5,300 (injuries will force him into playing time and Chi is mediocre at defending big men even though Jackson is more of a SF)

    C
    1. Gasol – $7,000 (not the best matchup but Ibaka and Leonard are out, the Knicks stink but have big men so he will get minutes, splits vs 2. Jordan are favorable for, risky due to extreme blowout risk)
    3. Lopez – $6,400 (expensive but Phx is horrible at stopping opposing centers)
    4. Looney – $3,500 (floor price, Cousins is out, and Bogut even though he’s starting is not a lock to play heavy minutes)
    5. Bogut – $3,500 (extreme punt play but if for some reason he goes off you’ll be in a good position)
    6. Maker – $3,700 (Blake is out so he will get minutes if you need a punt play)
    7. All the expensive plays if you want to pay up here.

DK? If you don’t mind leaving money on the table you can drop down to Kleber. Of those two, Morris looks solid.

  • SkateFiend

I’ve decided against tinkering with my more conventional lineup that I made last night. I think the right play is the mid tier guys like Jabari Parker, Cedi Osman and maybe even Schroeder.

I keep flip flopping between those two. I also have Jokic and if he gobbles up rebounds that theoretically takes away from Morris but then again with Hayward out MM should easily see 30 min right?

    Nice write up

At PG No Lillard, Dragic, White?
At SG no Luca or Lavine?
    At PF no Marcus Morris?
At C no Ayton or Nurkic?

Kleber just feels like chasing but he’s definitely in a good spot.

Alright, I’m going with Morris. Just give me something in his normal range and I’ll be happy.

Well, you can also look at it like they correlate and if somehow the game shoots out or goes to OT and what not then you have another piece of the action.

Nah, I don’t think. I’d rather play Maker or take a chance on Spalding.
