I don’t agree with your analysis. Sabonis had 7 turnovers and that’s crushing and only one bleal. Adebayo had 7! Good scores are often about luckboxing into into blocks/steals, he dominated the bulls. He also shot poorly from the free throw line. Also his assists were down. I liked Sabonis with Warren out (more shots) and especially with Brogdon out, more assists.

Now I didn’t watch the game were guys missing shots off his passes? Or was the offense not running through him a lot? I’d guess the turnovers has something to do with Lack of assists. Regardless of the assists and low bleals…some better free throw shooting and less turnovers that’s a 50 DK point game. He was a good play and ended up doing fine considering the bad variance.

I pretty much liked every 8k on DK big man yesterday. Had plenty Collins, Vuc, bam, and Sabonis.

There isn’t really a way to disagree with the numbers thou…..Sabonis is 1.3 with Brogdon , Warren and Dipo off the court with a large sample size (last 1.5 years) he is 1.13 W Brogdon off Warren off and Dipo…on. So my point is he wasn’t the play i thought he was (if he was 1.3 ftpts per min) . He was a bit off last nite w high turnovers but take 4 of those away and he still would only have reached a pedestrian 42 points at 8,300. If Dipo Was out he would have had a much better shot to Crush. That’s what court IQ clearly shows

To be perfectly honest, i hope many people don’t agree and keep playing him w Dipo on …definitely caps him. Im also just upset i had 100 exposure to him on 4 FWBCC tourney qualifier tickets and missed the LA trip and seat in tourney by 7 points that could have been made up if i at least saw that info and pivotied off him on 2 of those entries

You’re talking more about FD, and I’m on DK. He scored 44 DK points. On FD he’s not a blocks and steals guy, and he does turn the ball over a bit, so he’s always a weaker play there. On DK turnovers are only -.5. I still had him on FD in my 1 lineup. yet he’s a nightly threat for a double double, and with Brogdon out he’s got a small chance for a triple double, add the turnovers, he’s a DK play.

He’s like Luka in that regard….Luka is always a better play on DK because he’s also not a blocks and steals guy, turns the ball over a bit, and FD doesn’t give double double and triple double bonusses.

I know you’re looking at the outcome, however, Sabonis had 30 DK points in the first half. Was Dipo hurting him there??? No he was crushing. What happened is that the game turned Semi blowout in the second half, and other guys started contributing, before Chicago made a game of it. It was like 74-52 halfway through the 3rd.

And people misinterpret court IQ, I won’t get into it cause I see that as one of the few edges left.

i guess my basic point is with DIPO on he’s gonna have many more paths to less appealing outcomes…thus his 1.13 FP/MIN numbers . With Brogdon off and DIPO off he’s 1.3. That is really my only point. There is huge variance from quarter to quarter and game to game but the stats show there are many more paths to nights like last nites when DIPO is on (Even w Brogdon off). Nobody else is really reading this so if you do have any insight into what i might be missing on court IQ i would be very thankful sincerely if you share it. The sample size is large with these numbers.
