Harrison Barnes projected for 50% ownership on FD?! I see myself being way underweight on him

Giannis has such a cake matchup on paper with no Collins, that he may only need 30 minutes to do Atlanta dirty.

    Gallo out hurts just enough.
Moving to Lakers for my lock.
Still like Lakers and Cleveland moneyline.
Atlanta to cover, but not so much on the moneyline anymore.
Phoenix spread grew too high, don’t like it at all.

    Why the Lakers?

Just completed a seven game across country road swing which makes this game eight. I would think they start to get the bounce probably two games vs Utah.

Well. Gotta figure out what to do with my sky high Goodwin exposure.

    That’s almost exactly why.
The Lakers are playing their first home game (positive).
They traveled 3 hours west to play a home game (massive positive).
Boston’s playing their third straight road game (negative).
Boston is staying in the same time zone on this third straight road game (negative).
Only 18% chance of blowout (positive for Lakers).
Projections have Lakers favored by 1 now.

If Keiff is out, maybe I regret it and should have gone Cleveland to cover as these are the two lock worthy games, but I don’t think he makes that big of a difference.

Can you explain to me why it is a positive?

I have operated under the assumption that the first game after a long road trip is a negative. It is equivalent to the final game of the trip, legs still dead, not really settled in. I heard a long time coach mention it during a league pass game and it made sense to me. Probably more of a positive if fans were at the games.

Lineup note: Bucks will start Holiday, Forbes, Middleton, Antetokounmpo, Lopez on Thursday.

It doesn’t make sense. I don’t know why. I admit I’m no psychologist.
It’s like I used to think teams get road weary during a long road trip, but the inverse is true.
I used to think back to backs were bad, but front end of back to backs are much worse for home teams than back ends of back to backs.
It’s shattered some myths for me, but again, I only know the numbers, I don’t know the reasons behind the data.
I don’t know why home teams traveling 3 hours west win .667 while home teams only win .531
