Rolling out rudy would certainly give you some leverage…hmm

Does JR take shots away from Danny? Green has had big games vs the Clips, but the Lakersโ€™ rotation/usage is going to be weird here.

I canโ€™t think of anything worse than a 2-game slate with LAC/LAL included. Lakers are basically shooters roulette; any one of JR/Green/KCP/Waiters could conceivably go off, yet all have historically been blind gambles in DFS terms.

So DK Sportsbook has 5:1 guaranteed payout for betting any team Thur, Fri and Sat. $20 pays $100. What is everyone thinking? Suns to beat the Wizards?

  • AdamBski

Iโ€™m thinking 100% LeBron might not be enough %…. in other words how can you fade him on this slate?

Don’t think he’s any more of a lock than any of these other sub 4K SG/SF’s who will see 20 minutes, but definitely in the player pool rotation.

That would actually make this slate a lot more interesting. Lakers will probably get smashed because the Clips will just double Bron into oblivion while Waiters and JR play hero ball. Still not sure I’d roster Markieff though. And speaking of, don’t the Morris bros hate playing against each other? Surely there are some DFS implications to that… maybe JaMychal grabs some of Marcus’ minutes.

I want nothing to do with a potential chalk Kuzma situation.

I don’t mean I would fade him. Just that the concept is horrifying. To me.

  • siddom

as per fantasy labs he is hopeful to play. im fading the la kings tho anyways

    trez unlikely to play Thursday

  • realphipps

One of Javale/Howard, but which one?

Everyone will play Rudy or Noah (w/Trez unlikely), so I’m guessing one of the Lakers big nothings will be the DFS play at C.

JaVale and Howard have shown very little upside this year. Dwight can get you a baby double-double, but Caruso is just as likely to be catching Bron lobs these days because he can actually move. As for Gobert, his only game vs the Pels this year was without Zion, and Favors still outscored him fantasy-wise. No idea how much of an impact Zion will have if he plays, but I think center is by far the most dubious position on this slate.

The main thing to keep in mind with Utah is that the absence of Bog should be a fairly big boost to O’Neale which might go overlooked among sexier options at PF.

Edit: Also, if Harrell misses I would imagine the Clippers go fairly small with maybe Green at the 5. Zubac can roast JaVale if he wants to, but they rarely seem to play him more than 10-15 minutes.

I doubt the Milly maker fills — either not people have enough money or they forgot about ball

Dwight howard has a sore knee.

  • realphipps

    Rip,

You echo my thoughts. But we have to play a C. It’s the rules. So who is the play?

    Rudy-19?
    NO Center ___?
Zubac for 15 mins? Noah for ___?
    A Laker?

I feel like it will be the fourth option, just not sure which one.
