DK has a monster 8 dollar GPP.

    700k, 150k to first….

Was I in your double ups? I did two $25 double ups on DK. One was a single entry and the other was a multi entry. Cashed both.

Just checked the 25 single entry.

Yea you beat me. You got 19th, I got 46th. We both cashed though, as top 80 cashed.

  • tmarohl

Cashed 7/8 on FD in the $9.99
Cashed 3/3 on the DK $15
Cashed 2/2 on DK $25 double ups
    Cashed 9/20 on DK $4

That was great. Anybody else notice Giannis dominating the third then ghosted in the 4th? Was surprised he didn’t attack and carry them to Victory.

  • superstars92

tmarhol, your team is basically the same as mine. We just had slightly different captains and you had Mitchell > Middleton who was terrible haha. Our other 5 is the same you had different captain. I actually coulda fit Mitchell too, but thought Middleton would hit more 3s.

This is the first time all year that moklovin, bkreider, and a bunch of others are not in my double up. I like it this way, so that 30% of the double up isn’t one team….too bad that changes next week lol.

  • superstars92

Btw, on the 8 dollar GPP in a few days for DK, Joel Embiid might as well be 50% owned.

His price is egregiously bad vs. Brooklyn. It’s lower than Simmons and it’s Brooklyn.

Its crazy Lowry was in the whole 4th instead of Trae Young

It shoulda been Butler if anyone but Nurse likes Lowry I guess. I was wrong, didn’t think Nurse would play him that much. I predicted Trae wouldn’t play the 4th because of his defense but never woulda guessed Lowry. Woulda said Butler or Middleton over him.

I wouldn’t say ghosted. He had blocks, rebounds and steals. He just didn’t want to be going to the line.

Yeah, I am not much for these single games, but it was nice not having to go up against pros optimized lineups tonight.

Lowry is like a trillion times better in a competitive environment. Butler over Kemba would have made some sense, too. Also, there’s a bit of a veteran hierarchy thing; they sat Luka for CP3 (which was probably optimal defensively, too, but obviously Luka is better at this point in time).

  • captainwacky

The Giannis team choked, but Lowry was probably actually their best player in the 4Q.

Joel Embiid got a ton of FPs though =( Big swing for me haha.

My other, non single entry double up did worse, but still cashed. Had Giannis, AD, Siakam, Tatum, Kemba and Trae in that one.

Yeah, he was fine as well. They should have just either had Giannis go downhill and either try to finish/kick or keep working Siakam vs Harden (except probably get him facing up). But not having Giannis go a couple times to the rim (especially as raw points are so valuable with no clock) was strange.

And even if you don’t go that far, what he gave them they couldn’t have gotten from anyone else. Certainly not Trae Young.

  • superstars92

I guess the Middleton narrative is over for the All-Star game.

Speaking of him, he’s going to be sub 3% owned on DK with Giannis back and him being 8.3k.

    Josh Richardson is only $4,200

Giannis had played hard for three quarters.

I’m only half joking. When you go as hard as that fourth quarter without media timeouts, fatigue is real, and some people had a fuller tank than others.

  • captainwacky

Haha I don’t think (or at least I hope there aren’t) there are people who think that Giannis wasn’t a beast tonight. I wish they would have put it in his hands more or he demanded it slightly more, but he was crushing on defense that quarter.

  • superstars92

I’m willing to bet Jimmy Butler (if he was healthy and could play) was probably not happy he was not on the floor.

He is better than Kyle Lowry, Kemba Walker, and Pascal Siakam and since LBJ’s team was quite big, he matches up better defensively too (like on Kawhi/Harden or a LBJ switch).

Most of these other All-Stars probably don’t care, but Butler has an attitude.

All Butler did when he was out there was turn the ball over for three consecutive fast break baskets for Team Lebron.

I would bet he’s not stoked either. But I do think Siakam vs Jimmy butler is an interesting comparison point; I’ll take Siakam for my money (and this is as a bulls/jimmy butler fan). Not really related to your point though— he definitely wanted to be out there.

I think giannis disappeared because they rotated playing lebron, Kawhi, and AD on him defensively and it gave him problems
