My observation over the last several years suggests that it takes up to the 3rd game after the AllStar-Break for the normal statistical team meta’s to stabilize.

That can be used to your advantage in GPP’s but it means “cash consistent trends” experience unexpected turbulence….

… it gets a bit squirrely

I have 3 tickets for the $10 fbwc qualifier not a good idea to play those thursday?

knew david stern was fixing games all along. Nice to see all that info finally came out.

kinda hilarious that the FBI tipped him off that he had a rogue ref and that Stern put the kibbosh on the entire wiretap and Federal investigation…. he knew he was probabbly going to jail too if that investigation went anywhere….

Stern is a smart dude… .also a real tough dude you dont wanna mess with… i have heard things… he strong armed quite a few people in this world over the years..

i used to have access to NBA retirement plans…. you should have seen the flags on Donaghy’s accounts…. it looked like he was being sued by 42 people at the same time

how reliable are rotogrinders projections? they have k.love playing for 29 minutes….

i think they do a good job with minutes projections…. i run them against another website most nights… and i make my own predicitions based on past boxes and such….

rarely do i find any major discrepancy between the two sites and my predictions…. thats not to say they’re ACCURATE eveyr night but i think they do as well as cna be expected….

now something like K.Love’s minutes… could be anywhere from 6 to 34… i wouldnt hold that type of thing against them if they were off by 100%…how the heck can you even try to predict that right now?

I’d bet the under on 29 for like $500 for what it’s worth though…i’d say its closer to 15-18

That’s a really lousy projection IMO

I haven’t found a single source that’s good for projections. Chalk finders yes but accurate projections no.

As someone who considers themselves an NBA historian to have these two bombshells dropped on us on the same day…. wow…great reading…

    https://www.theringer.com/nba/2019/2/19/18228706/lockout-1999-season-san-antonio-spurs-new-york-knicks

thats the best recount of the lockout I’ve ever read….

i actually got to see Master P. play an exhibition game for the Hornets and score a few buckets…it was amazing…the guy really did have game… like he didnt look out of place out there at all

the one thing i will NEVER forget from that season is Shawn Kemp….. i mean… my god…. the dude went from being a Svelte MF to a blimp…literally like 50 lbs bigger

It scares me that I’m basically already done with lineups since like 2 days ago.

    A fascinating but disturbing read.

David Stern was well known for fixing everything from top to bottom…. outcomes sure…but more importantly making sure certain guys like jordan, wilkins, etc were given absurd amounts of FTA to hit their scoring average every night… there were literally 2 sets of rules back then…

and dont get me started on playoffs…. .certain referees were always asssinged big games and everyone knew who they were…. the NBA was a total joke under Sterns watch …. rigged from top to bottom… it was more kayfabe than WCW and WWE at times…

He was also not a guy to screw around with…. nothing was going to stop him from achieving what he was going to achieve… he had a group of dudes who would go around threatening reporters and such…… global growth or death… and in some ways i respect that… but teh league had ZERO intergrity under his watch….

Adam Silver is a totally different type of human… he believes in transparency and integrity…. and notice how small franchises have succeeded under his watch…

and we dont have series being rigged like 2001 76ers-Bucks or 2000 kings vs Lakers…. or the tim duncan stuff….. or the kobe, jordan, etc BS…

so when the FBI came to Stern and said they were going to have a ref wear a wiretap and expose other corrupt refs…he went ape and blew the whole thing up… as you’d expect…covered his own butt to the very end

I didn’t get that the FBI told Stern they were going to have Donaghy wear a wire from that article, but it was a mistake to tip their hand until the entire investigation was complete.

I’ve thought about it. I’ll probably do some work tomorrow. Actually a decent amount of news to need, I think. I’m guessing most teams will have a practice tomorrow I believe so hopefully some news comes out. A lot of guys who were out before break and now have a Q tag and who knows if they’re ready now or might be. How many minutes will Love play. On and on.

looks like FD is only runing the one big gpp, not much else besides small contests

I checked my upcoming contests. I have 55 entries into one FD contest and 41 entries into another.

I won the tickets over the course of the past month or so.

Bam at 3.5k on DK seems like nice upside. How much is his performance vs Philly in last seasons playoffs a concern (he didn’t do much)? I am still struggling to figure out the Heat minutes at center.
