    My 2 cents:

Adjustments will be made, gotta fade the public (per say) in this game (I am at least). I’m not playing much of Siakam (if at all), heavy Kawhi and Klay, prob zero Danny Green. Livingston is borderline but at least his salary didn’t go up $1,800 like Green. I mean damn, he’s pricier than Ibaka. Who has history vs GS and if not for Siakam “giving what the defense gave him” he would have had 30 DK points. He’ll have a 40 burger this series. Gotta keep riding Gasol and Klay and I think give Lowry another chance? I think the key to the Showdown “unique entry” is finding the sub 10% owned C that hits way above their ceiling. Siakam was 3.6% owned at the C spot. You HAD to have him at C to win the previous Showdown. All I’m saying is that I’ll have a fair amount of Ibaka at C. He was 4.7% and when he hits that 40 burger at $4,200 you’ll want him at C at 5%. Him or Lowry are good low% C’s with high enough upside.

Iggy has a good contrainian look since he’s now not in injury report
    put up an unexpected 5x

How many minutes does OG get tomorrow? I’ll use him if the answer is 14

I don’t think he gets 14 and I think he’s pretty thin even if he gets 14 anyway.

Hot take: Looney gets 28 minutes and 34 DK points.

Don’t see any non-shooters scoring 34 DK points against this defense

    except – possibly – Draymond.

What do you think about Bogut? 12 minutes? Need a sub $2k guy to pair with Draymond. Or i can go Lowry/Livingston.

I really wish Kerr would play Bogut – otherwise, why bother bringing him here from halfway across the world? But there’s no telling if he will. Warriors need someone BIG to protect the rim, work the pick-and-roll with Steph, and make passes. Boogie and Bogut seem like the best candidates to me, and Bogut is healthier.

I’m going to put Bogut in a couple. He’ll be 8% owned and if he can get 12-15 DK points I’ll be good w that.

I’ll hope he gets some run for your sake, then – also for the Warriors’ sake.

How far will this DK Milly fall short? The last one was 9k short and this one’s at less than 50%.

  • Njsum1

Don’t love how the builds are working out. Going by my expectations of the game, I think you’re going to likely want Curry as your captain and if Iggy is healthy he’s too cheap.

I also think Kawhi has a chance for a bigger fantasy game tonight.

Edit…might try some Iggy captain, yet if he’s not right, that will be a disaster.

this one I’m guessing will fall into the ‘dead zone’ like the last one, meaning it will not be close to overlay, nor will it be close to filling.

All milly makers have 15% rake if filled, but they usually end up around 10% due to not filling.

DK’s profit on the Game 1 milly maker was $217,600

    this one isn’t a milly

half the prize pool of the Game 1 contest and first place is 25% (250k rather than a million)

This one I think either fills or comes very close

Minus whatever they lost on freebies. When they see they can’t possibly fill, they get what use they can out of the overlay.

It’s still $25 and so you’re avg person that played in the Milly for the Milly won’t put the entries in this, even at half the entries to fill.

    O/U not filling by 4K ? I say over at 6k

That insurance policy Kerr bought from aussieLand paid off in spades in the Clipper series.

… and me thinks it’s better Defense on Gasol…
…, which means more fast breaks = better +/-

    25% chance Bogut starts

… upon further review.. I wish he’d start

I was starting to think that Durant may be available for game three. After seeing video of him in sweats yesterday, I no longer think so. Dude looked like he could hardly walk.

I would rather put 20 in the $4 than throw darts with $25 entries.

What is the most likely story line –

dubs ease up on Klaw, who goes off for 68 K pts
    … or …
pascal is 2ndary focus & Gasol or Lowry get 45- 55?

The last approach clearly didn’t work. I doubt Skiam will have another huge game like that. Have to make him shoot and limit his drives. The warriors have to play much better defense, up the pace, and get some scoring from other guys besides Curry and klay. I think GS manages to win this game.

They need to do something to neutralize Gasol. He’s a menace.
In a conversation with hobbes2d on the 29th I said, “Aside from being a great defender and shooter, Gasol is a great passer and can serve as a safety valve if/when the Warriors trap or double team Kawhi. The last thing the Warriors want is Gasol playing as a bigger and better shooting version of Draymond, so I think getting him off the floor will be a priority.”
I can’t tell you how much I hate that this is exactly what’s happening. Ugh. The other thing I was afraid of is also happening, which is Gasol, Siakam and Kawhi defending the Steph-Draymond pick-and-roll. That thought was so worrisome that I didn’t even mention it. But of course Nurse is smart enough to think of that, and here we are.

Game 1 was like watching a nightmare come to life. I just woke up from a real 3-hour nightmare, and haven’t slept well since Wednesday night. If the Warriors don’t win tonight, I fear the worst for my sanity LOL

Agree with this prescription, and hope you’re right about the outcome.
