    Hi,

Did RG change the way their late swaptimizer is functioning within the last few weeks? I generally did not have problems with it during the NBA regular season, but now I am having incredible amounts of trouble getting it to work at all. Granted, this past week I have been attempting to use it for the NBA summer league, so maybe RG staff just isn’t keeping it up to date for the smaller sport like Summer League, but It honestly it just not working at all. I cannot figure out what is going wrong. Is anyone else MME-ing with RG builder for Summer League? Maybe someone else has some ideas….

    Hi,

I tried both SL slates today and was able to rebuild lineups and export the new CSV in LineupHQ. I clicked on the ‘Upload your Entries CSV Here’ to choose my DK file rather than drag/drop, but other than that, my process was the same as it usually is. I used ‘Edit Entries’ from the DK lineups page, copied my new lineups into the downloaded file, saved, and uploaded to DK successfully. Do you think something is going wrong post-lock? Maybe in between games something isn’t recognized correctly for locked players. Feel free to send me a DK CSV that isn’t working for you (nicole@rotogrinders.com) and I can test it further. Thanks.

    Hi Nicole,

Yes, I think that is exactly what is going on. Otherwise Im unsure what the issue is. It isn’t with RG’s ability to recognize entries/CSV file (or export them back out for re-uploading on dk) for that matter. The issue is with the actual process of re-building the lineups themselves. Of course, one would respond with “check your rules” to make sure there is no conflicting rules set up, but I’m sure that is not the case, as I don’t have any conflicting rules and/or player groups (I’ve actually set adjusted by build settings so that there are zero rules at all, just to test it, but that hasn’t helped me at all). Additionally, I re-built lineups almost every day using the exact same process during the regular season in the NBA, so I don’t think my process is off. Maybe the answer is just that there is something wrong with locked players, and that it isn’t going to get fixed for the Summer league, but I would hope that is not the best answer to the problem. I guess my main question is — Did RG create a new “swaptimizer”? That function says its in Beta Mode, and it looks different than the old lineup re-builder that used to be in place. Is it possible that there are technical issues associated with it because its new/in beta mode? I’m just trying to search for an answer here, and thought maybe someone else had the same problem (I understand there aren’t many people re-building lineups for Summer League dfs, lol).
