damn GS coming out flat to start the third

    ugh

  • samuri8

Steph Curry can you please wake up. I have Durant/curry/dray/bev/shai/Livingston entered three times in the 4pp lol.

  • sox9

Beverly could have 17-20 REBS. Thought GS was not gonna let that happen again? Kerr a great coach? No adjustment made. Kerr coaching scheme: “Kevin go out and shoot the all”. Actually that is a pretty great scheme

  • sox9

Harrell and Lou killed a lot of LUs tonight, Also any LU that had Curry as a MVP.

  • yisman

Beverly is the most amazing part of this series.

Probably going to have his third straight double-double

consider where this guy came from and his career arc

  • sox9

Beverly 13 REBs w/well over one quarter left in the game

  • BerkeleyBoss

Sitting in a 100 way tie for 1st in the big $9.99 on FD.

    KD
    Dray
    Bev
    Andre
    SGA

Seems pretty likely to hold too

His price skyrocketed on FD. And he was totally worth every penny

Unfortunately it’s $1,761 w/all the dupes not $100K. After taxes at ordinary rates and social security figure maybe $1,100-$1,200. Still a great return for $9.99.

LOU the bust of the night, Yikes!

  • samuri8

I’m not able to watch the game, is curry flat because of defensive design again or just having an off game? I assume the former.

  • yisman

Harrell and Lou not doing much of anything tonight

104 people have that very same LU. After that the payout for place 105 drops to $50. And that is why Showdowns are donations to charity as well as the first 104

  • sox9

Lou 2-for-14, he’s baked for the night

Hope it holds. It should. With 104 identical entries in first the max you can make is a sweet $1,761. It only goes down if someone weird puts up a ton in 4Q like Temple, Jerome, McKinnie or Cook

I have never seen Lou have this poor a showing, ever

  • samuri8

Should have listened to GG about steph. I guess I’m just amazed anytime steph is a bad play in the postseason lol. Gotta get over that.

  • ASitar

I need Livingston to get 15 DK points in 5 min

  • samuri8

In for $80 out for $127. Another decent night with some major mistakes. Berkeley did you hold?

  • 866

Crazy game ended up 2nd best lineup tie for 7th on the D K. Bev was Capt. Durantula shows out and was finally a TRUE Dray-Day with the Tripp-Dubb.

  • damionismyname

In the GS/HOU showdowns you can probably win with a 0 tbh.

    I did, woo!

I much prefer Steph at MVP over KD. The 2.5k savings can go a long way with the rest of the lineup.

Yet, you played KD at MVP and tied for 1st.

So was your advice to play Steph at MVP just intended to throw others off the correct play?

    Asking for a friend.

It is just interesting to note that FD touts this as a $300,000 LAC vs. GS contest of the night that you should enter in an advertising email. Everyone should realize that w/the top-heavy payout structure and multiple dupe LUs less than 0.3% of entries won a little over $1,000 after tax—not the $100K pretax they ballyhoo. Everyone else?——If you didn’t have that perfect LU the best you could do was about $30-$35 after tax for second place. It’s part of the reason many stick to cash games only—-not to mention competing against the sharps who cover almost all possible combinations in a Showdown slate. Slates of two-games or less—you can decide if they are sucker bets like trying to roll a hard 4 instead of placing the 6 and 8. And in Vegas or AC you don’t get taxed on less than $1,200 or so, don’t have to even fill out a form at cash out—just take your money and walk out, and go to the next casino. Of course you still have to beat the house—but the rake is like 1%-2% roughly if you play craps conservatively—-less if you add in free drinks, food or entertainment let alone a room. I recall anything over $600 is automatically taxed on FD. Just a PSA announcement that there is fine print some are unaware of in these contests.

Haha was thinking about that actually. I def did like Steph more for the 14.5k, but still knew that KD was very capable of being the top scorer. Ended up with 13 lineups, 3 KD, 2 LouWill and 8 Steph MVPs.
