Not having Kevon is gonna hurt

  • kettab24

bro a lot of new age media and analytics knuckleheads were pushing this agenda a lot idk how you can watch basketball with both players in their prime and think Curry is better…I would’ve loved to see guys like Kobe, T-mac, Iverson, and VC come up in this era

  • Kassdog

Currently in a 80 way tie for 5th.

  • yisman

what a way to lose another third quarter bet…

Lol as if Kobe’s never had a bad game in the playoffs?

  • Kassdog

So the stadium goes up in flames if warriors win right?

  • tmarohl

Like I said earlier, Houston isn’t that good.

  • ASitar

the rockets are a joke. the warriors look like the ones that had their backs up against the wall

  • Caelixx

Wow those Gerald Green punts in the big DK contest that’s ballsy. Congrats to those dudes.

Harden on his way to the strip club now. His annual event after another crushing loss while coming up short.

  • SkateFiend

The Rockets should have kept Montrez and Beverly. They didn’t really need Chris Paul to make the playoffs. They even had Sweet Lou at one point.

Clint Capela only scored 10 points playing against a Warriors team without Durant. Come on, he had to get more involved in the offense that that. Deandre Jordan could score 10 pints and grab 15 rebounds, just ask Chris Paul.

yeah man. clint capela should have had a much better game. even from a non-dfs perspective…i expected him to be a big factor tonight and he was a hot a mess

I hate that all the announcers keep on saying Kevin Durant is the Warriors best player. It’s always been Steph and will always be Steph. The Warriors record with Steph and no KD is way better than the Warriors record with KD and no Steph.

I thought all the national media was over reacting to Houston all year. Yeah, Harden was great, but they never looked to me like an elite level team. Tonight, especially in the first half, they played some of the worst defense I have seen in a long time. That and they were not putting forth much effort on the glass.

Honestly the biggest person lost in all of this is Andre Iguodala. He sacrificed his individual stats for the team. He probably coulda made like a few more All Star teams and been the #1 option on playoff teams (like he was in that one season in Denver when they were the 3 seed) but he sacrificed all his individual stats for team success.

There are times during the team when he’s like 4k and people are like he’s not good anymore. I guarantee if he played for the Phoenix Suns he would be 8k and averaging 16/6/6/2 as an elite wing defender.

It’s also a shame he’s only made 1 all NBA defensive team just becsuse he doesn’t play much. All defensive stats suggest he’s back one of the best wing defenders of this generation.

    Very good points.

I never understood the love from the national media for Houston this year. Harden had an amazing individual season. There was about a 10 – 14 game stretch where he needed to put up huge numbers for Houston to have a chance to win when they had all the injuries. However, once everyone was back, he continued to put up huge numbers. It Houston was playing team basketball once everyone was back, Harden’s numbers should have went down, and his team mates should have went up. They didn’t. Which tells me that it was always more about Harden getting his numbers than Houston trying to be the best team possible.

Now they are screwed because they are paying CP3 something like 38 million next year. That is a luxury you don’t need, and can’t afford, if Harden is just going to play iso ball all season.

  • yisman

what a 4th quarter from Steph

just watched a replay of the final minutes

felt like deja vu watching Houston collapse

exact same situation as that series against the Spurs two years ago. Kawhi/KD go down, Houston down 3-2, everyone thinks Houston has a great chance to win the series, and they choke in Game 6.

At least they didn’t lose by like 40 points this time I guess.
