Klay never gets enough respect, he’s used to it. It’s a travesty that this is the first year he’s made All-Defensive.

In other words, the presence of KD cost him a Supermax!

  • RobertoTomba

Any thoughts on who wins the series? I keep hearing analysts saying that Toronto Has the Momentum…as if momentum can carry over from one game to the next. I see a team that took care of business at home, but has two of their main guys banged up (Kawhi and Lowry) and the third one (Siakam) who’s a basket case (as in: whether he can actually put the ball in the basket from one game to the next).

I think Milwaukee takes it in 6 games, but what do I know. I had $$$ on the Sixers to win the conference, and look how well that turned out.

Kat didnt make it, max deal may be in trouble.

Max deal is signed. He’s not going anywhere until 2024 (unless he’s dealt).
The All-NBA deal was an escalator in the contract that would have bumped him up to 30% of the team’s total salary cap.

Just watched the video, Klay doesn’t look pissed. He shrugs and rolls his eyes, then when they ask him how he’s able to let not making All-NBA roll off his back his response is just what I said it would be: “Rings.”

The one I saw he was not happy. Kind of in disbelief when heard Kemba made it.

Warriors understand that these are regular season awards, and don’t reflect their level of play in the postseason. These guys are going to their 5th Finals in 5 years and have played more games than anyone else on the All-NBA teams. Naturally they don’t (and shouldn’t) go 100% for all 82 regular season games, knowing how they’ll have to turn it up to win the last 16 games.

They keep their eyes on the real prize, and that’s how it should be.

The Bucks opened at -6.5 and went to -7 with just over half of the public $ on the Bucks. Plus Kawhi is banged up and I think that shows again. I think Bucks win 106-96, esp if Middleton shows up again and I think Brogdon starts.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Raptors win it, even though I favored the Bucks when it started. Kawhi is injured, but he’s already been a champion and Finals MVP – this is the first year Giannis has won a playoff series. If everything else was equal (and it’s not), that experience could end up making the difference.

I think Milwaukee wins the series. As I said after Game 2, I expected Toronto to win 1 or 2 at home. That doesn’t change my expectation for the series.

As for the all-NBA teams, I think what LeBron did to LA was disgraceful and him being rewarded for it is a travesty.

  • Agent47

All-in on Siakam for the bounce-back game after the dud in game 4 and at that sharply reduced price. Got a whole $2 ($1 SE and 4 QAs) riding on it tonight haha – don’t let me down, buddy!

Knee-jerk votes by LeBron sycophants in the media, he didn’t deserve All-NBA this year.
Westbrook either, for that matter. Now get off of my lawn!
    LOL

Just noticed that Tony Brothers is doing the game tonight. Apparently the Raptors have a great record when he refs their games, but he was also there for game 2 against Orlando when the Raptors got out shot from the free throw line 25-10.

    Capt BLED!!!

What do you think of Lowry?

    Lowry/Hill or Siakam/Powell? DK

  • damionismyname
