    Got buried on that one

    Sick

Would be shocked if Toronto beat GS

Milwaukee was the better team and win the series if Giannis didn’t turn into Shaq at the line. He missed 19 FTs in Games 3-6 and shot like 40% from the line

Wonder what the NBA will do with Drake in the finals

KD won’t give a damn about Drake

and Draymond’s not worried about him because he can’t shoot or pass LOL
E-40’s very much looking forward to seeing him, though

Imo…they weren’t the better team. They lost in 6 games, with home court advantage. Toronto was the better team. They just proved it. Giannis missed those free throws, cause he’s young, inexperienced under pressure, and likely tired due to all the extra basketball he played and how hard Toronto made him work during the games.

Warriors can’t win this series without KD. Toronto has the defenders to render Klay/Steph less effective. Obviously they can’t stop them altogether. Yet they can make it tough. Dray’s going to have a tougher time as well.

With KD, it will be close, (maybe the warriors will win) yet I still think Toronto (with home court advantage) is likely to win. It should be a good series either way. I don’t have a rooting interest, just wanna see a good show.

It would be interesting to see a game where KD and Boogie were playing and healthy.

Boogie makes the Warriors worse, the numbers show that. He just doesn’t fit in the starting 5, with their style of basketball.

If I was Kerr, I’d bring him off the bench and not give him more than 10 to 15 minutes. Don’t want to be starting him against Gasol. Wont be good for Boogie’s psyche. See what Gasol did to Embiid who is a much, much better player.

Haha…I’m as big a Steph fan as any. And personally I don’t care who wins. Well that’s not totally true…if KD plays I’d root for Toronto, if he doesn’t, I’d root for the Warriors. I’m a fan of the impressive feat. And the Warriors winning without KD, and Toronto winning if KD played would be impressive…Imo.

Your Dubs don’t have home court here, which I think plays big. Anyway I can’t make an anti-GS prediction without at least posting a gif of a really cute puppy. 😁

Awww…you know cute puppies are my weakness!
Not worried about home court advantage, they’re not called the Road Warriors for nothing. Toronto won’t be able to build a wall against their perpetual motion offense, and they have some pretty good defenders, too.

You can get 2.5 to 1 betting on the Raptors to win the series. Good luck =)

Just checked out the pricing for game 1 on FD. You can go a ton of different ways. You can even make some lineups with Kawhi/Steph/Draymond in the 3 multiplier spots with so many cheap options. Gasol/Siakam and Iggy are pretty cheap tho, so you don’t necessarily have to just jam in those 3.

Should hopefully make for less ties.

three of Milwaukee’s losses were very close games.

Giannis mysteriously went from a 74% FT shooter to a guy who couldn’t hit a FT and it changed the way it played because of that

Game 3 was double OT and that only happened because of the above (and then Giannis fouling out, of course, which certainly helped Toronto eventually win). Otherwise, Milwaukee wins in regulation and is up 3-0

If they played this series again, I’d pick Milwaukee to win. They’re better.

Golden State would’ve deservedly been favored over Milwaukee and they’re even bigger favorites against Toronto for a reason.

    scenario:

Drake spends 10 straight minutes taunting Dray, then moons him.

Dray “accidentally” knocks Drake down while running down the court.

Crowd loudly boos Draymond as Drake lays there as if he’s been shot.

well, you’d have to live in a state which has legalized gambling, otherwise you’re dealing with offshore or a local bookie

here in NJ I can get +235 at BetStars, +250 at Fanduel, and +250 at DK

I think it’s in the oddsmakers best interests to post accurate game totals and spreads in sports that have them. For if they make weak lines it can cost them a lot of money, in certain circumstances. I’ve posted on this before.

However, when giving odds on teams to win (like in mlb or NHL) or individuals (like boxing or mma) to win an event, it would seem that they would just want equal action on both sides. So they have to take into account where they think the public will bet. The +250 line on Toronto seems like a line created because they know the public will bet heavily on GS, not actually a line meant to reflect what would happen if the series played out a 1000 times.

I’m not saying I think Toronto is a lock to win, I would say accurate odds would still have GS favored, just saying that 2.5 to 1 isn’t where I’d put it, after watching these playoffs.

True, and money has been heavily on the Warriors so far, but this line is certainly indicating that the Warriors are more likely to win, and it’s not very close.

If you expect it to be a 50/50, with the teams evenly matched, you can expect a 75% ROI on your bet (.5*2.5-.5*1 = .75).

It sounds like you’ve changed your mind and come from the dark side though, since you’re now saying the accurate odds would favor GS =)

Haha…don’t know if I actually believe that or just wanted an out if I was wrong. Lmao.

If KD is expected to play, I do believe the warriors should be decent favorites, if not, not sure if I do.

Anyway as I said, I’d root for the warrriors if KD doesn’t return and Toronto if he does. As I’m a fan of the impressive feat. Yet either way, just want a good series. Cause we now have 4 months with no nba hoops.

  • miggs6876

I really don’t get all the Toronto love. Defensive is very good but they still won’t be able to stop the warrior machine consistently. One game it could be Steph, Green, Klay, or pick a role player. Their ball movement is second to none. The Bucks and 76ers inexperience showed. The home court advantage isn’t a great concern. Toronto will need more than kawhi to beat them. They know how to defend iso ball. See the rockets series. The other starters aren’t consistent enough to beat the elite warrior team. Warriors in 5 maybe 6.

It’s playing with emotional fire, and don’t tell GG, but I’m actually kinda hoping KD doesn’t play. I’m tired of everybody underrating Curry and Draymond.

I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with myself once NBA is gone. I’m already making showdown lineups days early…MLB just doesn’t do it for me.

I used to play MLB every day. Now maybe once every two weeks or so. Prize pools are not that attractive, and baseball is just so damn random.
