Hood gonna be in the winning GPP LU

  • damionismyname

Got screwed with the benching of Aminu and Harkless. always something that ruins a lineup that has a shot.

  • yisman

yeah so now Hood is going off like crazy

after all those games he had like 8 FP for me

one of the highest scores of the night at cheap price so no doubt about it

  • yisman

    barton should be ejected

  • yisman

Nurkic wearing a shirt with Serbo-Croat on it. Wonder what it says.

edit: apparently he’s making a political statement. It has names of guys who died fighting for whatever side he supports over there.

FD you basically just stack all positions and punt center. Winning strategy almost every slate.

  • sox9

Winning GPP LU on FD for $100K indeed had Hood. Congrats to them!

I think that is right. Monroe was the drop. Center has been horrible outside of Jokic almost every slate.

Putting in Hood over Barton or Reddick was the key to big cash. +15 FPs minimum when usually only a few points separates huge cash payout from modest ones in the top-heavy pay-out structure w/may dupe LUs. Hood was under 20% owned, Reddick and Barton 35%. Gotta stop reading the projected points and fade the popular value choices.

doesnt matter if he goes off, its position scarcity. Jokic is the only center that has gone off so if you punt him and pick all the other positions that go off it counters an expensive Jokic when he doesnt go for like 70. Has happened many times already.

i remember it happening twice. doesn’t seem like that’s optimal/consistent. actually seems sub-optimal because C is the only position that you are allowed 1 of. all other positions require 2, so if there’s a weak position you’re better off going for a good play and hoping everyone else busts and punting the other spots. just have to figure out where that spot is

its happened way more than 2 times, its been 2 times this week. if the center isnt going for 60/70 then its probably not good to pay 11k for them. the times Jokic or Embiid go for 40-50 they are not in the winning lineups for the most part.

well no, i’m agreeing with you…if you think C is the weak position then by all means punt it. but jokic is very capable and very easily gets to 60/70…he had 42 fpts with a couple minutes left in the 3rd before picking up his 4th foul. That really slowed him down. But i don’t think it’s an automatic “punt C, make money” scenario. i think overall SF and PF have been much thinner positions this playoffs

Multi ties for dk 1 and 4 contests. 327.5.
Reconstruction CJ, Murrary, Hood, Kawi, Collins, Jimmy, Simmons G. Harris. 329.75 for all the monies. Jokic didnt go off, 56.50 at 10300 compared Kawi 53/9500. Collins must at center with Kanter hurting/fasting. Avoiding landmines key as usual, Moe, Aminu, yada yada yada. Any advice showdown?
