30? That’s asking a lot out of Korver.

True but I took a shot lol

Jaylen Brown was doing a great job towards the end denying Korver of any space. He just couldn’t get free on those patented cuts and handoffs.

I was in 1st midway through the 3rd, just long enough to see that I tied with so many people that 1st place in the single game $100k FD contest would have gotten me $155. Ended up finishing 11 pts out of first (288-277). Doesn’t sting as much knowing it was only $155.

I really enjoy these games. Of course if the $100k prize were in the two game two day slate I’d be playing those instead. But these are pretty fun (but I might be biased b/c I tied for 1st the other night & won $312, lol)

Gonna be heavy on R Anderson and N Young tmm. Have a feeling they hit a few threes. G Green too. Paired mixed & matched w Curry, Harden, Draymond and Durant.

I’d wait on Rhyno til they go to GS

What did the $300k and $100k, $7 league pay for each person with all the ties?

  • tmarohl

This series will probably go seven. Series doesn’t start until a road team wins on the home teams floor.

  • mj234eva81

Finished tied for 1st on FD. I’ll take the $900+ split. Was really surprised when I checked about a half hour after the game. As sometime during the 3rd qtr, it wasn’t looking good for my lineups, so I told myself stop checking. It’s not like I can change them.

  • scott33

Congrats man, yeah Smart & Horford exploded the 2nd half

  • gaelicgirl

Only cashed for $16 in this hideous Boost game because I didn’t put Smart in one of the multiplier spots.
Can’t even stack the Warriors for tomorrow with the inflated prices and no value plays.
I hate FD so much right now.

Why would you want to stack the Warriors? They are too balanced. You want Harden, Paul and then Dray. That can be done.

But I don’t want Harden and Paul, because I think one or both will throw up a complete dud soon. I would rather stack the Warriors and get all of their points, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals. By stacking them I don’t have to decide which one to leave out or worry about whether it’s going to be a “Klay night” or a “Draymond night” or a “Steph night” or a “KD night.” It doesn’t matter if I have them all, and I have a better chance of having a unique LU because very few people go with a full Warriors stack. I’ve seen it win, though.
But that’s beside the point. I hate FD for taking away the single-entry contests I’ve been playing all season, where I’ve had a chance to win $1k to $2k for $1 to $5 in entry fees. I don’t play the 150-max entry contests because I don’t have the bankroll to put in more than a few entries, and I don’t like those odds. But after waiting all season for these Conference Finals, FD eliminates two of their regular single-entry contests and reduces the top prizes for the remaining ones to $200 to $300. To add insult to injury, they’re offering all of their regular single-entry contests with decent prizes for the crappy 5-man roster Boost game, where you can’t even win the decent prizes anymore because they’re split among so many people.
I call bullshit on those greedy bastards, just trying to suck up as many entry fees as possible with 1-day slates for smaller payouts.

GG would be proud of me, as I stacked the Warriors in my cash games on the 2 day slate (also threw it into the Shot). Hope they return value as a group. TT, Morris & Smart got me just below 5x as a trio so I’m optimistic I’ll cash in both GPP & 50/50’s. Got Curry, Klay, Iggy & Dray. Ran it back with CP3 & Ariza. Hope it’s Steph’s turn to go off. I agree on the single game slate, as you’ll prob need 1 & maybe both of CP3/Harden to take down a GPP. But then again it’s DFS I’ve seen crazier things happen.

    MVP exposure on FD tonight

    2 Harden
    2 Durant
    1 CP3
    1 Curry
    1 Draymond

Cheapest guy is Ariza. Feel like I can still fit in some big names without going any cheaper.

Agree. I was referring to the stupid one day game when I was asking about stacking the Warriors.

  • ASitar

Looking at Looney Tunes and Swaggy P today for cheap. Putting Beard and CP3 in one, stacking the Dubs in the other (DK). Amazing, I finished less than 15 points from first and won $15. Three Showdowns in a row one person won, hopefully it continues.

    GL tonight.

Return value as a group, yes, that’s what I was getting at. Well said.

I see they finally added a Wed-Sat slate, so I feel a little better. May variance be on our side!

Gotcha, sorry for the rant. At 2 am I was feeling irked because the 1-day game was all that was up. My more rational morning self has to agree with you and Scott that it wouldn’t be optimal to stack them on a 5-man roster.

  • mike42

    Who is swaggy P?

Would Lebron have gotten a hundo if his neck didn’t get strained?

I think Durant is just going to be a monster this series. Average 30 plus points and get more than 3 rebs, 1 assist and 1 block every other game. I think the lack of peripherals last game disguised his upside pretty well and guessing his ownership will be held in check. I hate the guy but he should score 30 plus again and at least double up on the extras, maybe even 3x or 4x the extras. The 45 DK points he got in game one may turn out to be a floor for this series. Paul told him to “shut up and play ball” and it seemed to piss him off, I think he does just that… play ball like the best offensive player (arguably) in the NBA.

Klay- He been playing at a consistently higher level than I can ever remember him playing at. Problem is he made a comment that he can’t remember a playoff game in his life where he was that open so many times. IDK, would be surprised if he was open a lot tonight since that is the definition of bulletin board material.

Houston’s “other “ guys: You have to figure houston is going to try to get the Tuckers and Gordon’s of the world going early. Gordon is as random as it gets (insert long run on sentence), but I really like Tucker to be tonight’s Smart. Just play hard, pile on the stats type of game.

    GL everyone

So wait… its FD’s fault that you didn’t play Smart in the multiplier spot?

    You really complain a lot.
