How are you fellow delinquents going about cash lineup construction here?

For preseason cash and gpp lineup construction, I have all the names on a dartboard with small post it tabs…I take a sip of bourbon, close my eyes, spin twice and throw the darts..rinse and repeat for about 5 lineups, unless I hit my cat, or hurl..whichever comes first

It worked last year..if it works again this year I might just do it during the regular season, we’ll see what happens

Hey, any process is better than no process. Take a shot for me!

2 starters, 3 backups in 2 LUs. Feeling kind of “meh” about DFS, but looking forward to finally watching an NBA game!

Yes, I’m feeling kind of rusty. Not gonna play “showdown” tonight and instead will just enjoy the game, however insignificant the result may be. NBA basketball is back, baby!

You had me all hyped up and now you’re not going to play tonight? I’m so conflicted now…Maybe I shouldn’t play either.

Also, Fwiw, I was absolutely abysmal at NBA showdown whenever I played it last season so that’s also influencing my decision to just watch the game and play mlb dfs instead.

    Do you.

Nah I know what you mean. I had every intention of throwing some line ups in this and doing MLB, but after poking around for info for tonight and looking at the pricing and everything I may just bow out. After MLB locks I’ll see how much room the contest has to fill and maybe throw some line ups in since there’s about a half hour gap there. My slight concern is if the contest doesn’t fill it’ll effect tomorrows slate and so on. It’ll be nice to actually look and see how my NBA line ups are doing for a change. Tired of seeing those zeroes in MLB!

Ahh man, that’s harsh. He’s going to do it this year, even if I have to take him under my wing. Although then he’d have to be willing to take my advice.

Since Borrego said the younger guys will get a lot of run I’ll prob play Bridges, Big Willie & Monk. Not sure which 2 studs I’m gonna roster yet.

Boston starters: Irving, brown, Tatum, Hayward, horford

Finally, NBA is back. I’ll take preseason NBA over NFL DFS any day.

Guess I’ll roll with Monk as my Captain on DK

  • LarryLegend33

MKG and Monk are both available to play.

I have $100 left. We’ll see who is right. You can enjoy 22 minutes of Semi Ojeleye and I’ll take my 18-20 of Kyrie Irving

Great to be back. Sounds like Charlotte’s bench will get a bit more run than Boston’s, but I’m a little weary of how much leash they’ll give Monk after his injury.

Looking at last year’s CHA/BOS preseason opener, Tatum was the top scorer (FD points) and played by far the most minutes (33 – next closest were Ojeleye and Jaylen at 21 and 20), while Lamb led Charlotte.

Hernangomez, Bridges, Monk and Bacon all smashed in Summer League for CHA, while Yabusele and Ojeleye were the top scorers (FD points) for BOS aside from Bird who doesn’t appear to be active tonight.

MVP is a total shot in the dark, though I’m leaning toward Willy, Tatum, Monk and Jaylen. Lamb also might be worth a shot, though I imagine he’ll get less run than the others.

The real wildcard is Hayward. Either they try to get him heavily involved early, or ease him in with 10-15 minutes max (I’m leaning toward the latter).

    Good luck everyone.
