NBA.com has recaps of the California Classic and Salt Lake City Summer League games that have been played so far. You can also check individual team pages on Bleacher Report for updated rosters.

I would imagine NBA.com has most that you need. I would get familiar with depth charts, and using common sense to determine who should play the most for each team. Answer is usually the Rooks and guys maybe fighting for roster spots. If you haven’t heard of them, I’d wait it out. Usually there’s going to be surprise guys you’re not familiar with, but wouldn’t chase them.

FYI, Cunningham, Hayes, and Bey are supposed to have zero limitations minutes wise. Not that you would expect them too, but just saying Pistons aren’t looking to give them light workloads. Also, Casey has been raving about Hayes in practice. Says he’s faster, stronger, more physical, better.

Also, kind of inline with the last two sentences of my first paragraph…sometimes the guys who have been around, but not successful in the league, you know they’ve bounced around summer leagues, g-leagues, overseas that get 20+ minutes (if you can figure out who they are) are the best plays, because they’re cheap in general and more seasoned then these rookies.

This is not me endorsing these plays, but just looking through the available guys, people that fit what I’m talking about…Kobi Simmons, Michael Beasley, Melvin Frazier Jr, Antonio Blakeney, Khyri Thomas, Faried

I think Jimmer is back…with the Nuggets.

  • dadl

I believe Jimmer is out due to a schedule conflict or something of the sorts.

Just curious…Is there a slack or discord that anyone is in where people share late news?

First lock appears to be 5.3k Omer Yurtseven. Dude was a beast in the first 2 games. Averaging a 50 burger

Yeah, Portland is pretty desperate I guess. They brought in Beasley too.

    No Little for Portland

Antonio Blakeney Jr has been my go to Summer League play for awhile now. He can fill it up quickly.

  • monarch

Vernon Carey Jr has already had a ceiling game in the NBA…he will be on my radar.

Obviously Okoro can produce…not sure of the minutes. I would imagine getting him time is a priority though. He could have a Lonnie Walker type summer league.

Rockets have most of their roster that was winning GPPs representing in the summer league…high upside guys plus Jalen Green (ROY candidate).

    KZ Okpala szn.

    Josh Giddey stat stuffer….no Poku?

Always play Devontae Cacok. Summer league beast.

GG playing Draftkings? Can Irrigator sign you up for our daily $1 for next season?

  • tmarohl

Bucks don’t play today, but I will be very interested in Jordan Nwora fresh off being the leading scorer for Nigeria in the Olympics, Mamadi Diakite who is slated to be Brook Lopez backup, and bucks second round draft pick Sandro Mamukelashvili who will make the roster on a two way. I’ll have some lineups with those guys on Monday.

Interesting, because I see 17 guys on their roster. Who are they taking?

Yea I seen that and I have no idea. Only thing I trust is starting lu’s and looks like for main slate probably getting just 4 confirmed lu’s maybe. With the other 3 late games it’s swing or miss. Some decent plays but want the guaranteed confirmed 20ish mins

Source: Nuggets have signed Daniel Hamilton and Josh Gray to their Summer League roster in order to reach the number of players needed to play tonight vs. Miami.

So apparently this game as well could’ve been canceled because they didn’t have enough players. Idk why dk has 17 nuggets listed.

I’m only playing there because FD doesn’t offer Summer League contests for some reason. Not expecting to actually win any money, just want to get familiar with potential punt plays for when the real season begins.
