BANKROLL FORUM

I have been playing DFS for a while off and on. I have played virtually every week during this NFL season. It has been back and forth. Cashing good one week and not the rest. So last Sunday I won $10 in the SF/Bal second half showdown. I also won $1.50 in three other contests and $2 in another. All of this with over $6 worth of entries. I ultimately ended up with about $18 (including winnings from $.25 leagues). Recently, I have been much more smarter in my money management by not letting won money go to waste. I have withdrawn what little bit of what I have won often. I won the money and it shouldn’t go to waste. Now there is an upside to having more money. You have more opportunities to improve your bankroll. 50-50s are much more effective with $5+ entries. But each week is different. So if I have been a streaky finisher, should I not risk most of what I win? Is it best to withdraw some than roll the dice on a consecutive week?

I have no idea what you are asking. You are barely betting enough to buy chewing gum at the grocery store. Either have fun and enjoy or just quit and focus on not becoming a full fledged gambling addict.

You sound young. Maybe focus on weightlifting, girls, or partying. Or a career. All would be a better use of your time and money.

Whats up man. How you been? Why aren’t you posting on the other forums and only the UFC one.

To the OP I’m not sure how exactly you value money but if you are concerned about 10 dollars, I think what you need to do is set a limit of the most you can lose per month (say 100), deposit that at the beginning of the month, and then withdraw/deoposit accordingly to get back to 100 the next month. If you go to 0 that month, don’t deposit until next month. If you have like 220 at the end, withdraw 120 and don’t deposit next month.

This is coming from someone who probably had a much bigger swing than you would ever have by 0.5 points, so don’t take it too badly if you lose. Happens to all of us, but just try to enjoy what you are doing.

When you are playing pennies who cares about bankroll management. Imo bankroll management should be ignored till you’re playing hundreds a week.

Play what you can afford to lose and just have fun.
