    …9 points, 7 rebs, 2 blocks in 32 minutes..

Thomas Robinson: 14 points, 8 rebs, 1 stl in 16 minutes.

Of course this is just one game.. But I see Thomas Robinson being more efficient than Noel a lot of time. Why is everyone so quick to call the man a bust when he has never gotten a real chance.

Noel had a rough night, but he’s been very solid. Maybe Philly plans to give Robinson a real chance. They did claim him off waivers when he already was planning to sign with the Nets.

This wasn’t a rant about Noel at all. I didn’t have him anywhere.. but, why would a mbah be starting over him at the 4? I just dont get it. Especially with them tanking as it is. . Let the young man progress with some starting time.

Completely agree Massey, makes no sense. The way the 76ers run their entire organization is downright awful.

I have played Robinson a couple times at minimun and he reaches value, but only plays 15-18 min. I was looking to jump all over him if they were showing signs of upping his minutes. I have no idea why they don’t bump his minutes and see what he can do. Playing mbah moute makes no sense. Again the 76er’s.

I respect Noel’s ability to stuff the stat sheet, but after the fact tonight I realized that he’s a much better play at home. Pretty significant splits, especially in relation to his currently rising price.

This I completely agree with. I’ve got T-Rob in my season long, as he’s still a pretty decent contributor in boards, but the minutes drive me insane. Makes absolutely no sense to be giving all the minutes to Mbah in their situation.

That said, I do think his minutes will get a slight bump in these last couple weeks.

Only thing I can think of is perhaps Robinson’s conditioning isn’t where it needs to be.

People have been saying that TRob should be playing more for his last half dozens teams. There just has to be something with this guy that no one in the league wants to give him meaningful playing time.

  • MRCOOKONUTS

Some guys are just better in a reserve role.
Maybe he is more hungrier knowing his time on the court is limited, plus being with a new team he is at least currently, giving his all.
You would assume given more minutes Robinson might be a beast, but thats probably not the case with this particular player…Highly unlikely on a night to night basis if Robinson got 20+minutes he would consistently put up Noel type numbers..Maybe he turns into a good starter one day, however most NBA organizations obviously dont feel that he ever will.

That’s kind of what I’m thinking.. I mean, at POR I understand with him being behind LMA. It’s just I’ve read so much stuff of people calling him a bust and I’m pretty dumbfounded on the whole situation.

I think it may go back to when he was in port i mean there have been times where he had opportunity against good match ups when lma/robin lopez were injured and people would use him and he would bust i know that has happened multiple times so i think it scares people off him.

  • 19massey89

Yeah I was scared too. Stotts was a idiot.

  • mke272

This stuff drives me crazy! You just never know with injuries/rotations/matchups all playing a role in the rotation. I think best to just not think too hard about it, give it your best guess, and move on.

Noel got hit in the eye in the game.
