Respectively, I think it’s appropriate to have a civil discussion in relation to the recent article.

What do people think of this? Feel free to post your thoughts below.

It’s ALL OVER ESPN too… keep seeing the ticker that says DK “defies” Nevada law.

I’m not sure how I feel about DK letting players finish entries but the Nevada blog sure is taking the opportunity to exploit the situation by screaming bloody murder because they then could access the site over the weekend.

Curious..Going to be in Vegas this weekend. If I (living in Michigan) enter contests at home am I able to set/change lineup while in Nevada or are we unable to access Fan Duel period?

    Thanks

I wondered that too. I live on Ohio on PA/Ohio border does it go by your address or where your location is. and I wonder if they will still have the Fanduel Tourney championships in Vegas?

  • adnoble

Fanduel is going to move their Championships because they can’t have them in Vegas.

When i was in Mexico i was not able to play Fanduel so i would think that it will not allow you. Though i was able to play on Draftkings lol…

When I in Afghanistan last year I had no problems…so who knows lol

Stupid of DK to continue those contest , should have refunded entry fees and done what they told them to do, You don’t stoke the fire while it’s blazing . Freaking morons .

Geo location is not an exact science. I show up as living in central iowa half the time, and thats 500 miles away. Just because some shill got on a DFS site from an ip in nevada doesn`t mean steps aren`t being taken…

I’m moving from NV to CA this week and hope to be all setup by this weekend.

I come from a sportsbetting background. If DFS is seriously restricted or shut down is there any possibility of DFS sites operating offshore in places like Costa Rica like the sportsbooks do?

Well, alomar15, I wish I could say the same.

NV resident here, Fanduel canceled all my live entries including $25 main event entries and hasnt refunded the entry fees, the tourney tickets I won were canceled and I can find no record of them, the fact that I had entered in a lineups that scored 190+ points on Fanduel and were c anceled after the fact is very concerning – if anything that seems seriously illegal and I would assume class action suits arise due to their terrible handling of this situation

also just wanted to give props to all the RG moderators and pros/shills who spent all their time calling everybody tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorists instead of getting with all their insider buddies at FD and DK and letting them know this was a major issue that should be addressed properly – nice job trying to censor the issue – worked so well that it is now a worldwide major scandal, threatening the entire industry – most people try to get out in front of something like this – DK and FD have a lot to learn about public relations, but I’m not sure they’ll ever get that chance

I STILL have not received any refunds to any of my contests that FD removed me from. I have also received no response to countless emails that I sent them. I guess I’m going to have to either launch, or be a party to, yet another class action lawsuit against this nefarious site. It’s baffling to me that with all the negative attention they are getting, they risk even more negative publicity by willfully stealing from players who are no longer allowed to play on their site.
