A new round of updates and additions to the DraftKings Chrome browser extensions were rolled out today.
2/23 UPDATE A problem was discovered in the original release with lineup naming that caused the My Lineups page to lock up. Only a few people encountered this, and a fixed update is now available. Once your browser has updated to the latest version (1.4.1), you’ll see the informational pop-ups one more time, but everything should work as it did before. If you locked up the page and had to disable the lineup naming option, you’ll need to clear your browser cache to get rid of the mess I caused. Please PM me if you need assistance. END OF UPDATE
Here’s a brief video about all of the RotoGrinders extensions available on DraftKings:
Lineup Naming –
You now have the ability to name your lineups on the My Lineups page (which some of you have been requesting for a while now). This should help everyone organize their various teams and allow users to quickly search for and find a particular lineup. Changes typed in the text boxes will save automatically. If you want to clear all of your existing lineup names, just click the ‘Clear Lineup Names’ button. If you perform a ‘Global Player Swap’ the affected lineups will lose their names. For lineup exports and single-lineup edits, names will be retained. Names are not displayed for lineups with a status of ‘COMPLETE.’
Percentage of Field Paid –
In the DraftKings lobby, when you click on any contest, you will now see calculations for the margin and percentage of the field that cashes in the ‘Contest Details’ pop-up window. This works for all contests, including ticket contests and qualifiers.
Cap Space Calculator –
When viewing a live or completed contest on the ‘Contests’ page, you can now see not just an opponent’s cap space (the right-hand-side lineup in the H2H view), but your own cap space as well. This allows you to see anyone’s remaining cap space even if you’re viewing a contest that you didn’t play in. If you’d like more info on how this feature works, please watch the video posted above.
Player Exposure Enhancements –
In previous releases, due to rounding, it was possible to see “0%” or “100%” for a player that wasn’t really on 0% or 100% of your entries. I have modified the display to “0+%” if a player is on less than 0.5% of your entries and “99+%” if a player is on >=99.5% but <100% of your entries. Please note that you will only encounter this if you create a LOT of different lineups for a slate.
How to Install
If you don’t have the DraftKings Tools extensions already, click — here — to install them. If you already have them installed, they should update automatically (version 1.4.1 is the latest version). Any of these extension options can be enabled or disabled at any time by going to ‘chrome://extensions’ in the Chrome browser and clicking on the ‘Options’ link underneath the ‘RotoGrinders – DraftKings Tools’ extension.
