    Hi all,

We’ve built several new research pages that we want to showcase for feedback. Take a look around at the following pages and let us know what you think. Our plan is to replace the Player Stats and Team Stats buttons from the Daily Research console with a combination of the following pages, so let us know what you like and particularly what the current pages allow you to do that the following pages do not.

    Player Stat Pages

Enter our Player Stats Beta pages using the above FanDuel-specific link. The above link defaults to seasonal Offensive NFL stats, sorted by total fantasy points. From this page you can also:

    • Toggle on and off Totals and Per-Game averages
    • Use the positional filters to limit the list to players of that position
    • Change the selected time-frame to smaller ranges
    • Filter the selected columns to show or hide more advanced stats
    • Order the data by any displayed column
    • Change the selected Site to change how FantasyPoints are displayed
    • Search for a specific player or set of players by name

    Team Stat Pages

Enter our Team Stats Beta pages using the above DraftKings-specific link. The above link defaults to Stats Allowed by NFL teams. From this page you can also:

    • Switch to Stats Earned by NFL teams
    • Use the positional filters to see stats earned by or allowed to specific positions
    • Use all the other options listed for the Player Stats page above

We’ve spent quite a bit of times auditing our stat numbers and site-specific fantasy point totals from DK bonuses to Defensive Fantasy Points Allowed (Fun Fact: This is calculated differently on FD than on DK), but there may be some things we’ve missed, so please also let us know if you notice any numbers that look off.

For team stat calculations (both earned and allowed), we are summing the stat categories for offensive players, so there are some cases where numbers may not match other stat services. J.J. Watt’s receiving touchdown in week 2, for example, does not count as a team receiving TD for Houston since it was an offensive stat earned by a non-offensive player (Fitzpatrick’s throw to Watt does however count as a team passing TD), and rushing yards earned by Punters do not count as team rushing yards earned by the team or allowed by the opposing team.

We’re excited to showcase this set of tools and think they go a long way towards allowing a more customized experience for daily research. Thanks in advance for your help and feedback!

This is awesome, really looks great and is easy to navigate. I could be alone on one issues though, could salaries be written out ($7,900) instead of abbreviated ($7.9K)?

Otherwise it looks damn near perfect to me!

Thanks Riley. Glad my suggestion seemed worthy to implement.

I’d like to make request, on the depressed buttons that select the position or positions, would it be possible to shade them a bit more different than the color of the undepressed buttons, these old eyes sometimes have a problem determining which buttons are up and which are down.

@mbgoodchild, sites like FantasyFeud throw a wrench into this request because they use such large salaries. We run out of room to display them. The big two are pretty consistent between their salary ranges though, so maybe we can think of some way to display it one way for them and a different way for Feud.

@rebkell, take a look now and see if it’s any better.

^^^ Yep, that will work fine. Thanks

Are these stats from a feed? I want to be sure they are accurate.

@ldmariodl28, yes they are from SportsData

Could you add a column for the corresponding DvP position rank as well…. like 1-30. I miss that.

Great job on the new pages!

One suggestion – would it be possible to have to salaries in full format like 10,000 instead of 10k.

Primary reason is that now on Fanduel if a player is “Probable’ or ‘Questionable’ etc. when you copy the table, their name holds the ‘P’ or ‘Q’ etc on it and you have to manually go through and remove all of those.

I didn’t know if there was a particular reason for the salaries to be in this short format.
