I hate to bet with the public, 76% of the money is on the Chiefs, and I hate to go against BIF too, I don’t see this being a blowout either way. If this game blows out, it will be the Chiefs blown out, likely as a result of turnovers. I totally get why people are on the Niners, but this year, I’m convinced, is the Chiefs year. I’d love to see a Chiefs blowout, but it aint happening, not against a stacked Niners team. I think Jimmy G will do what it takes to keep it within a score until late in the 4th, I’m banking on him committing a late TO that seals a Cheifs win.

I don’t understand how everybody doesn’t think these teams are more evenly matched.

I keep seeing Sherman, but this is not the Sherman of old. Still good but not shutdown (and he’s not that fast) IMO

    Yep, and speed kills.

I guess I’m just talking emj then haha

But it’s polarizing in here right now!

There were two people who just posted “The Niners win with ease’ followed by “The Niners trounce the Chiefs”, but I don’t think either happen, I expect a close game, and could see either a last minute drive by Mahomes for the win or a SF defensive score/stop for the win. It’s polarizing depending on where your money lies in the outcome….lol

  • squidkill

Ya apparently- He might be Andy Reid’s love child- I think its gonna be close- If I play anything it will be SF teased up and the UNDER teased up.

Not sure if I’ll bet on totals, spreads, or over/under but will hit on some props.

I’m seeing Manny Sanders have himself a game!

  • TopDawgs07

My personal take on the game is that it’s a close game either way. I lean SF but Mahommes is the equalizer in a game like this. I agree with BIF that you see a large support from the public on the Chiefs but you haven’t seen a major line movement from Vegas. For KC, having another two week break and having already started slowly in two playoff games, doesn’t bode well facing the 49ers. I think KC falls behind in the first quarter similar to what we’ve already seen this post season. That allows SF to control the pace of the game and slow things down. In the end, I like the under and believe you’ll see either SF win by a field goal or a late Mahommes TD helps KC to a 4 point win.

That’s also the scenario I’m looking at for the Showdown Slates too.

the beauty about this is the results will be the results. I will be confirmed to be very dumb or very smart as it relates to my opinion on this game.. I picked both of these teams to get where they are and have made money doing so. I believe as stated the chiefs will throttle the niners. The niners strength of their team is their d and I have seen their d have trouble with mobile qbs. The saints offense showed the niners can be scored on and I believe the chiefs are a better more explosive offense. It comes down to this for me. I dont believe any team can stop the chiefs offense when healthy. As long as the chiefs stars dont get hurt during the game especially PM i think they will roll. They are the most explosive offense that I have ever seen. The emergence if d williams added to an already explosive offense. I think the chiefs will have PM roll out often and use d williams as a pass catcher and also go no huddle on the niners as well not giving them time to adjust and use lots of 3-4 wr sets-I think the chiefs d is greatly improved vs earlier this season. D Henry of the titans said the same thing. He was an unstoppable force that got neutralized.

  • emnj69

the titans won through running the ball and dominating the clock and wearing teams down while most games asking their qb not to do much. I believe the niners are a similar offense but instead of power running use speed running and schemes. I am not sold on Jimmy G and I believe he will need to throw to win and throw lots Tanny could not do it lets see if he can. If the niners pull it off I will give HUGE credit to their coach as their rbs are castoffs from other teams that nobody for the most part wanted .

RUNNING BACKS DONT MATTER!! all about line and scheme – come on man

  • realphipps

That over-the-shoulder bomb that Davante caught two weeks ago is pretty much the only big play I’ve seen Sherman give up this year.

That was Cover 2 Man. The safety should’ve been there a step sooner, but Sherman did bite in Adams wiggle, creating opportunity for the completion.

I think we’re getting way too caught up in this speed thing. Sherman plays “faster” receivers than he is every week. It’s his technique and strength, coupled with SF’s scheme and pass rush, that largely negates any perceived speed advantage.

Btw, very similar to Stephon Gilmore, who isn’t running 4.3 either.

I think the game can go either way but I see more paths to victory for SF plus the public is on KC pretty heavily and the last I checked they don’t build many casinos because the public is right.

Im with you and I’m leaning under too. I think SF’s D is elite and won’t just be giving up play after play to KC. Both Ten and Hous had garbage pass D’s, SF’s is the opposite. Think their run D, fully rested and healthy, can dominate too Vs a poor run blocking team.

I have not read all 11 pages yet but I wouldn’t sell Jimmy G short either. He’s actually more of a veteran than we tend to think and he has risen to the occasion when needed more times than not by a wide margin. He’s just not some nervous youngster and the issues he’s had with LB’s are somewhat negated by the fact that KC’s LB’s are not exactly ball hawkers. How many INT’s do KC’s LB’s have this year?

I expect Jimmy G to perform well and SF’s D to make enough stops to win the game.

packers have one weapon to stop-adams-the rest of their wrs are hot garbage and jimmy g washed up years ago
the niners will have to contend with maybe the most explosive wr on the outside and the best pass catching te on the inside-then throw in williams out of the backfield and a healthy sammy that is lots to try to contain-not to mention the random speed guys the chiefs employ in their 3/4 wr sets

the niners have been shown to beatable by tight ends-KC has the best one

  • emnj69

the niners no question had a great defense and they can only play who is on the schedule but they played some terrible qbs this year
among them winston, dalton ,mason rudolph, baker, kyle allen, case keenum

the better qbs they faced for the most part had success against them
    lamar beat them
    ryan beat them
    russ beat them once
Murray-young qb with promise had some success vs them in losses for cards
Goff-one good game vs them one bad game vs them in losses for rams
Brees-lit up their defense in a losing effort
Arod-stud qb with no weapons and their offense was made for the niners but to the niners credit they held them in check

now they are facing the best offense in the NFL-Russ Ryan Lamar Goff Brees all had some level of success vs them-the offense that I would argue is of similar composition is the saints who dropped near 50 on them

I dont see the chiefs getting shut down by any means what so ever
it will come down to in my opinion can the niners put up big points too-maybe they can but i dont think they will

and after the game I will not come back to gloat or eat crow -my pockets will be heavy or they will be very light-I will have skin in the game and be very happy or very miserable lol

Tell Sammy to shut up. I read an article where he said he might retire or sit out next season. He said “i may go sonewhere else, create another Super Bowl team”. Its this type of deluded thinking that gets players drug tested and motivates guys like Richard Sherman. This clown talking like KC won it already. Disgusting.

Most everyone else has been talking that way too. Can you blame him? Lol.

The disrespect for the Niners has been pretty bad IMO.

I have $10 left in my account, and I want to make a $10 prop bet that has at least a 10X ROI, looking for suggestions. Can someone help a brother out?

I’d probably take a shot on a 1st TD scorer prop.

If you think KC scores first i’d go Williams or Kelce.

If you think SF scores first, i’d go Mostert or Kittle

Here’s some more bad advice for you.

Chiefs run, er pass all over the Niners on Sunday.

But yeah, that is pretty dumb of Sammy to say.

Based on what exactly? Beating HOU and TEN? They shouldnt even have been there, it should have been NE and IND, both of which have already handled Patty previous. So unless you think Patty Mayonnaise could replace ARod on this years Packers and win it all, save yourself a few bucks because i see the same team when i look at KC and GB…
