It’s going to be tough to find the right offensive mix here. So much could happen if the points are what we think they’re going to be. DK priced everyone so you can pretty much do what you want.

Showtime or Goff, NO’s rb’s plus D. Williams, LA WR’s plus S. Watkins plus NO’s WR’s sans MT, Gronk or Kelce. Home team D’s.

Magic formula for this round with both home teams playing with good size leads and winning rather easily.

I like the patriots in this game, i won some good money from people at work. I ran my mouth into over $1000 in Patriots -10 bets.
I wont do that this week, will be a close game, just trust brady and belichick over mahomes and ried. Plus i dont think the chiefs win over indy was really impressive. The colts recievers just kept dropping balls. I know edleman and white wont be doing that.
And how fitting that brady has put the chip back on his shoulder.

    As far as this slate
I like michel and white again, they will be heavily involved.
    Michael thomas and brandin cooks
    I like kelce.

I think the -5 to 10 real feel plays a role in effecting the passing game

I did just fine on the chargers game. Thought it was going to blow out one way or another, loaded up on Sony and played it the other way too. Nailed the NO’s game too with Philly starting fast and NO’s coming back. Had a great Sunday including a top 10 finish mixed in.

    Thanks for asking though.

You like the home teams? Love NO’s and I’m getting there with KC.

I think everyone should not look at anything football for a day. Let anything recent pass then just start looking into the games. Recency bias is so crazy real. I just read a story that Kyler Murray might be drafted in the top 10 if he declares for the NFL. 3 weeks ago he wouldn’t have gone in the 1st round, he played one good half of against Alabama and now he is a top 10 pick?

Not a bad idea. I’m hoping for two great games but think one will underwhelm. No idea which but just tends to happen.

I’m generally on the opposite side of recency bias and that’s what a good chunk of my posts are about things that could be different or the complete opposite than where recency bias would lead you. For example:

NO’s slow start- They got a wake up call last week, think they start fast this week. Season almost ended because they started slow, vet team will not do that again.

NE’s Offensive explosion- They played a run D that put 7 DB’s on the field at home and played zone coverage. The SD game plan and strategy was a recipe for disaster. Knew NE had a chance to smash running the ball unless they broke away from those 2 things, kind of surprised they didn’t. KC plays man and just shut down Indy’s run game, if this forum is a gauge for public sentiment, then I think recency bias is going to lead you in the wrong direction.

The Letdowns and bounce backs spots are inherently the opposite of recency bias. A team plays lights out (recency bias) and then doesn’t show up the following week. BB blows up recency bias all the time because his strategy changes from week to week. I was way over the field on NE rb’s last week, I’ll be under this week.

As far as Okla’s QB, man, QB’s in general are what everyone is paying up for. Top 3 or 4 QB’s will go fast no matter what because there are going to be 3-5 teams every year in desperate need. Mayfield wasn’t the top choice last year but it just takes 1 team that thinks so.

I’d like to thank all you guys here for all the info and bantering you post as it has helped me immensely in learning to play this game. I haven’t asked for any season long help in my lineup building this season but by sifting through all the info you guys post, I’ve made it to the season long finals this weekend for the championship. Plus, this weekend I hit my best DFS score on DK. Your knowledge intimidates me and I hope I’ve learned enough to be able to contribute in the future. Good luck this week.

This is like a big Showdown. 4 legit QBs that have a 32 DK point ceiling, 4 RBs that can hit 30, another 4ish that can hit 20, 2 WRs that could break the slate, 1 TE that could break the slate and a DST selection that might as well be green/red/blue/black. Q of the week is – who are the 2 WR punts that hit 18?

  • joephoto

    I’ve enjoyed the NFL forum.
I’m ending the season on a good note. Won about 40 SB milly tickets and 40 or so $10 Nascar Daytona tickets too. Plus all my NHL snowman and EL tix in inexpensive satellites.
Thanks to Pats, and look forward to their win against whoever is lucky enough to face them in the SB this year.

    S. Watkins for sure. Hill and MT destroyed these 2 D’s last time. You have to figure that they lock in on those 2 this week and it opens up the other WR’s. Conley is getting snaps too but I think it’s just part of his diet, his doctor must have told him to get out and exercise whenever possible because he isn’t getting any tgts. Kirkwood getting snaps but matchup in slot is pretty bad. Think Ginn (50% of snaps) and T. Smith (30%) have to step up and that’s where I’m looking along with Watkins.

I’m going to look into it more unless Squid can answer it for me, but sure feels like BB doesn’t let good TE’s beat him very often.

If last matchup vs KC is any indication they will be focusing on Kelce without a doubt. Although Hill blew up big time in that game. I believe they will try to confuse the hell out of Mahomes with their delayed blitzes and confuse him with looks and formations he hasn’t seen. I do think the freezing weather will be a bump down to the deep passing game of KC. Should be a fun one to watch.

Ya they focus on Kelce, theres no way they can stop Hill due to his speed. Chiefs come out and play Man 2 Man means White on a LB should get plenty of catches and I think Gronk makes an appearance. Pats/Chiefs game goes under IMO and the QB’s underperform, so im going D Will, White, Gronk and possibly Hill due to his rushing/screen ability. I mean -5 degrees changes a lot, id like to see stats of games that cold and the scores of those games. In the other game I think Kamara is a huge mismatch for the Rams and he should have a good game. Rams will come out and run the ball just like last week and hit some play action passes to cooks, but I do like Gurley/CJ for 35+ carries combined. Both games go under, but in the end Chiefs/Rams win.

2015 seattle vikings game was played in -6 degrees

I remember that Packers/Giants playoff game when Coughlins face literally looked frozen. It was the last sub zero wind chill game I can remember besides that mommy/sea game in the playoffs and it was lower scoring, want to say 20-17. That was 6-7 yrs ago. Mommy/sea combined for less then 20 I think. Total keeps getting bet down in this game.

You know the way these playoffs have gone it’s totally possible the NO’s game stays low too. NO’s O doesn’t look explosive anymore and their D appears to be legit good. Rams becoming a run team too and their D is filled w vets and talent, could see them playing well.

I was thinking they focus on keeping everything in front of them and make KC walk it down the field. Let them run it for 2-5 yds a pop, let Mahommes dump it off, just nothing gets behind you.

This kid is different. Not just a special talent but he seems to have this savant like command at the line. Knows where everyone should be, never loses track of time, never looks surprised, think BB doesn’t blitz like last week because he knows they will get beat and besides, never the same strat 2 weeks in a row with BB.
