The coach speak hides the question of if Gurley plays at all. I think his knee could be worse than people think. He’s making people think Gurley is closer to 100 than 50 while I’m thinking 0 isn’t off the table. It’s gambling I’m not saying this is fact just Gurley hasn’t looked great progressively through the season then cj comes in looks fine….

    Rich Hammond
    @Rich_Hammond
Sean McVay said Todd Gurley joked with him that he was “real sore.” McVay smiled and said he didn’t think that was funny. McVay said Gurley is feeling good and will practice today.

It’s too early to decide about Gurley (and other things).

    I’ll make my decision later.

i dont no if its benn mentioned

at lunch today i heard a interesting stat on the radio

dome teams that have travel in playoffs and play outside are 8-44

chargers could be considered as not a dome team ,but a fair weather team

  • AVivier

There’s a couple clips around of Gurley practicing today. Gurley said he feels “no pain” in the knee. Unless something changes, I’m treating it like he’s 100% and will be his usual workhorse back with occasional breathers from CJ.

Ladies and Gentlemen the one fan base more annoying and barbaric than everyone else ever…….. Jaxville Florida feb 6 2005, I once saw a philly fan in a McNabb Jersey urinate on another older guy he shoved to the ground. Debo was probably still in diapers.

I was at that Super Bowl in Jax.
Drunk Philly fans arrived by carloads on Saturday – with no hotel rooms, or game tickets.

Them idiots jacked the scalpers price to 2,200/2500 per ticket. Priced us right out. Went to a Jax landing bar that ran out of food at halftime.

Highest DKFP’s game this season of the starting QBs:

    Mahomes 43.9
    Brees 43.5
    Goff 42.3
    Luck 39.7
    Dak 36.5
    Foles 35.9
    Brady 32.5
    Rivers 24.6

Rivers is the 4th highest priced. I don’t think he’d be playable if he was the cheapest.

Good point and his RB’s had 127 receiving yards in that game

If we want to look at gpp’s for ceilings I think the top plays are Mahomes and Luck in the game that is expected to go back and forth in a shootout. Then maybe Dak and Foles if we expect them to be behind throwing. Brees’ attempts will probably be limited, as will Brady if the Pats have it their way. Rivers obviously would have to have an outlier game to be the top QB. And I don’t think Goff will be throwing a ton as I think they have the lead most of the game and their RB’s have such a high td equity that if they get close they run it.

Edit: Maybe I’m not looking at Goff enough. Seattle was able to throw on Dallas whenever they wanted, just never seemed to want to.

I’d be surprised if Gurley doesn’t get upwards of 75% of the work. I think he’s a fine play but still like Mack better hands down. I want to like Gurley better than Zeke but just can’t do it. The way I look at it is Jared Goff has way more “viable” options than Dak so they won’t “need” Gurley as much. I wish the Rams had Kupp back too as that would make this game an “easier” call. In the end I’m hoping to be about field average on Gurley but maybe lower.

I feel like it’s safe to say Foles should be throwing a lot. I don’t think Philly slows NO’s offense down. So what are the chances Foles has GPP worthy success against the Saints D at home? The Saints D has played well at times but for example Roethlisberger and the Steelers had success against them in NO. With Philly having a good balance of pass catchers maybe Naked BDN is the play?

Gottta figure Foles good for 40+ attempts. And like you said, Saints d plays well at times. They can be exploited. Hope Philly comes out passing. Saints the toughest run D left I think. o you think Lattimore stays with Jeffery?

I think at this given moment I have to feel good going with a lot of Mack, Kelce and I like Ginn a lot too. Regardless of ownership.

Mack because the Colts offensive line is for real with them being fully healthy. We just saw them control that Houston front 7. Also I can see Indy looking to slow this game down especially with Luck/TY being better at home/on turf

Kelce because of the matchup and the style of D that Indy plays. They allow the underneath stuff and kind of play that bend don’t break style of D. I can see Kelce having 10 catches here and if he does and hits 100 yards you’re already looking at 23 DK points without any TD’s. I can see Indy winning this game which could set up well for Kelce/Mack

Ginn for 4 reasons. He had 8 targets in his first game back. He has huge upside. Phillys secondary is very porous. And the Saints have a good enough offensive line to give Ginn time to get down field and get open against that secondary. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see a designed end around for Ginn

I’m not quite there but I’m coming around on Zeke. I’m not going to state all the obvious reasons. I’m just going to say if Dallas gets pressure on Goff I think Dallas wins this game which obviously sets up well for Zeke

The game I still have no idea on is the Chargers/Patriots game. I could see that one going a million different ways

Like Ginn too, but Thomas I think is the play…
