RoJo and Tampa D. Run it back with Kupp.

Whats the strategy for capt on FD? I want to capt Brady because hes got 3TDs min in him tonight. However QB at capt has never really worked out for me EV wise. Sigh

FD with no multiplier on the salary, just play who you think scores the most points as your MVP – don’t overthink it.
There’s absolutely no value in hitting a cheaper MVP on FD like there is on DK – they all cost the same regardless of where you put them.

I like both offenses more than most. See like a 31-24 game that’s closer than the final score.

Think Rams will use Woods laterally a lot tonight. Screens/sweeps to keep those great TB LBs moving reactively moreso than routinely. One of Higbee/Everett could shine here as well with the way Bowles has been using White/David to blitz the A-gap on pressure downs.

It feels like a RoJo spot that might implode. Gotta believe Rams play a lot of 2 deep tonight, leaving the front seven on their own vs the run. That’s the type of environment favorable to RBs who can explode through a hole and shed contact.

Not sure how the Rams will matchup in the redzone, but Gronk should see some favorable matchups in scoring territory.

Browns are 7-3. This makes me happy.

    60 lineups

    11 different MVPs

  • I’ve toyed with bucs d at capt, but even then you want goff and a pass catcher bring back theoretically right? Idk if at capt bucs d will work, i could see them get a pick 6, regardless i think they’re gonna be able to put pressure on him all night.

Keep in mind I’m not a goff fan at all😁

Goff and Cousins both make me puke every time I have to play them

Tampa is exploited on the deep ball and la is on short passes. Its easy to see brady controlling the clock with short passes. I dont see goff doing that, its more homeruns for goff that have to work for him to be a good play. If tampa gets home on blitzes i think tb wins this game pretty easily.

Some of my rules for tonight

If either QB is in the MVP, then use 2 of their pass catchers.

If a RB is in the MVP, lower exposure on their QB

If a WR/TE is in the MVP, use their QB in one of the flex spots

If WR/TE is in the MVP, only allow 1 of their teammates in the flex.

I think that’ll give me some positively correlated lineups. Until someone wins with a Woods-MVP, Kupp, Higbee and no Goff.

    1. Its probably causes SNF is fresh in my mind, but tonight could be the type of game where the WR do well but the QBs dont. Like both Kupp & Godwin can be MVP.

    2. I’ll probably have a rule of max 2 pass catchers from same team. So this is similar to my thoughts.

You need a high scoring contest for that to pay off like last night. With both teams having a solid D I can’t see that being the case here.

I kind of like Antonio Brown at captain tonight. He’s been getting more involved with each game and I remember Brady looking his way in the end zone a ton with New England last year.

I feel like Goff will have to use his TE’s tonight. I also like Gronk as well. There’s some really good corners playing in this game, not that they can’t be beat but I like sprinkling Higbee, Gronk, and Everett in.

The thing is I don’t trust Goff.
I think Kittle unstacked won a showdown slate vs PHI. That game might be a better comparison to tonight.

Goff typically forgets how to play football on the road.

His splits were pretty even last season, but so far this year, he’s been way better on the road. FWIW.

This is one of my concerns. I think all the TEs have better matchups than the WR but the Rams could scheme things to Woods which just makes things more complex.

yeah just in case, I changed the rule that if a WR/TE is MVP to just increase the projection on their QB. So they’ll be paired with QB in most lineups, but not all of them.

Wow I disappear for a couple weeks and Brendan has good takes.

I’m leaning heavy on the Bucs side today. They just demolished a good Carolina D and they are at home where Goff typically forgets how to play football on the road. Since both sides are pretty strong defensively I don’t really see any particular skill position player as a must for the captain spot. I like Tampa D at captain which allows you to fit in anyone you want.

I predict a 27-13 final score in favor of Tampa

See I’ve just always been of the belief that he just really doesn’t know how to play. If McVay wasn’t his coach he’d probably be on the career trajectory of Josh Rosen right about now. In all seriousness, Goff seems to really struggle when he doesn’t have play action working for him – which I definitely expect tonight since I doubt they’ll really get the run going.

Someone talk me out of playing Akers at captain 1 of 4 lineups. A lot of rookie rbs have turned it on as of late, and he makes it possible to afford a lot of the top players. He also has seen his role increase the last few weeks.

Woods or Kupp in the better position tonight?

He’s the #3 RB, playing 25-30% of the snaps, against the #2 run defense in the league.

I think that should be enough to talk you out of it, if that’s what you really want.

I mean against bad defenses like Philadelphia, Buffalo and Washington but he’s been bad against the 49ers, and Miami recently. Tampa qualifies as a good defense. I just don’t see them getting it going.

If you really need a cheap captain, then just play the Rams D for 300 more.

    Hot takes:

    1. Godwin IS your FD MVP. 11 targets, 10 catches 108 yards, 1 TD.
    2. Higbee is gonna see 6 targets, 1 TD.
    3. Henderson is the RB you want, 76 rushing but 2 TEs.
Bonus: Succop puts up 17 FD points.

Brate and Jefferson my sleepers. GL.

  • MACKTYSON

Rojo as Captain or no cash tonite.

  • Fontaine

Im just going to address the elephant in the room…

Are we playing both QBs on FD tonight?
