All TDs from NO please. Clinging to a 9 pt lead in my season long semis and he has Lutz left. No idea how I am even leading with both Aaron Jones and Keenan Allen untimely injuries.

Like new Orleans to pull out early and put Carolina in uber catch up mode. On the fence with Ian Thomas. On one hand new Orleans haven’t faced many te threats on the other they did shut down Zach ertz. Will not have many saints players. Feel good about tonight but what do I know. I recommended that god awful Mariota/taylor/firsker stack yesterday.

Kirkwood my punt, both Saints RBs in a couple together, Saints D in half. Moore or Samuels I’m torn on. Virtually the same player but one will put up 5 more points than the other. Is Ian Thomas fools gold or a good pick tonight? Balanced is the way to go. Gotta fade McCafrey in 2/7 of my LUs, as hard as that will be. I think Thomas has one of his 35+ DK point games. I like Brees but damn I hate getting vultures by Hill on the goal line.

Started my first 2 like this with one as CPT in each. Mostly fading Brees and played Cam (in one) with Thomas (in both). Panthers WR are a mess and I leaned towards Moore but who knows if that’s right.

M13 is a great play, that’s good and all. But like shouldn’t we discuss things that really matter. Like what are the odds you need C. MCCAFFREY tonight? What does the Saints TE position look like as Carolina is awful against TE’s. Dan Arnold was out last week but if he comes back, $600 is a nice price tag. If not, do you roll out Ben Watson at $3800? Let’s go.

I was just thinking the same thing tight end wise for the Saints. I’d like to see Arnold in there because it’s a great roll of the dice at $600. Watson on the other hand I don’t known. Even with a great matchup against TB he didn’t do anything and at $3800 you really need double digit points out of him.

OT: Have a 39.7 point lead in my seasonal and all that is left for my opponent is MT tonight. If MT gets 39.7 points of less I am in the Championship Final. Am
I comfortable? Not in the least. CAR DEF is middling against the pass, MT has a 28% target share, he kills CAR and may be covered by Munnerlyn and have a huge height advantage. See 15 targets for MT tonight and am playing him as MVP in my one daily fantasy cash LUs this week.

I thought Munnerlyn was primarily a slot corner? If MT13 ends up being covered by him, I am all in.

If its dk scoring you’ll be fine…40pts isnt happening

I feel like the showdown is going to split at least 1000 ways. And I think I have the lineup

If this game ends up being like the Saints/Cowboys game I am screwed. I’m hoping for fireworks and lots of points.

it should be high scoring. In Carolina helps a lot. I think im going a NOLA stack and running it back with either moore or Samuel.

I think tonight we get away from the kickers/defenses..

Ben Watson hasn’t played 50% of NO’s snaps since week 7 and hasn’t started since week 5. Every NO showdown thread is littered with comments after the game starts of people asking “Where is Ben Watson The TE isn’t a large part of NO’s offense, last 5 games TE targets have been 4-2-8-6-5 and those are split 3 ways at TE except for last week when Arnold was inactive. If you want to take a shot with Arnold if he starts or Josh Hill who has ‘started’ every game since week 7 with only 9 targets to show for it and 5 weeks with 0 targets in that span be prepared to enjoy a goose egg more often than not.

Hear me out. Hold up, hear me out. Is it viable to put the Saints D at Captain to fit 3 studs and 2 other top-tier players? Last year in the first game these teams met Cam had 3 picks, 4 sacks, and 2 lost fumbles. In the second game Carolina had 3 fumbles and Cam was sacked twice. I feel like it could work if the Saints D puts up 15+ real points and points are funneled to my other 5 guys. Not using any player below $6,400.

I hate NO showdowns the scores are always so unpredictable, vultures everywhere! I think you gotta play CmC. Maybe fade both QB’s and try and nail the RB;s and Recievers. Have the Saints clinched homefield yet? Any chance Brees gets rested in the second half? Didn’t they already do this a couple games ago or was Brees hurt? I can’t remember.

Teddy saw time in 2 blowouts 51-14 and 48-7, if Brees comes out you already got the points you need out of him. They will be 1 game up on the Rams with a win for home field so they have a lot to play for, a loss they are tied and only 1 up on Bears and could be in danger of not even getting a bye so the game means a lot to them and the Panthers.

Showdown threads are littered with the dead dreams of those who started D and K in the Cap spot. You might min cash but when a stud drops 45+ in the Cap spot you will feel the pain of your ill advised play.

    I know. That’s why I’m doing 6 other LUs

But how about that Rams vs Bears Showdown. Look at the winning LU. I know because I had the same exact LU (finished 5 points back). I had Gurley at Captain, they had Bears DST. They won $100k

There was absolutely no scoring in that game. If you think that happens here then go for it.

Think this one goes under. Saints D has shown up lately and neither of these offenses is coming in all that hot. 24-13 NO is my prediction. I’m fading Cmac and going to run Samuel/Moore maybe a Torrey Smith flyer. I do think Saints D is a good play, not in cap spot though.
