With Dak struggling at the end of the year, do the Cowboys potentially turn the job back over to Romo? Even though I think Dak is the future QB of the Cowboys, maybe they want Romo to show he still has something to get some sort of trade value out of him.

When using the lineup builder in NFL or NBA, do you run with the default minute / point projections given or manipulate the data?

If so, do you do this so that each player is at what you see as his floor or his ceiling? And do you do it just one time or multiple times to cover different outcomes?

    Hope that all makes sense.

How do we claim the swag if our question got asked last week?

I think Travis Benjamin will be -1% owned and he torched the raiders the last time he played them. Has Rivers given up on Benjamin or is this a decent sneaky play for tournaments?

With some of the teams fighting for playoffs and most out of the playoff hunt. Is this the right week to start consider teams with playoff hope only and not consider teams that have no shot for the playoffs.

    Hi guys,

Really enjoy the Saturday night show. Quick strategy question. Can you discuss how to measure quality of target? I’m sure that a target coming from Brady is probably better than a target coming from Kaepernick, but I’m not sure how to exactly measure it or research it across the league. Additionally, I’m sure there are efficiency metrics for WRs also. Can you discuss this on the show? Thanks!

    NBA:

Should we completely ignore match ups with high over/under given the probability of a blowout? I’m struggling to find a good reason to pick elite players from those games due to the potential blowout as they will not hit value. Love to hear your thoughts on over/under when in double digits.

I was just wondering when you make the decision to get into dfs seriously, how do you make the jump from sports? Do you play both NBA and NFL hard at the same time? Or do you play one seriously but still in for some gpp’s and cash on the other? Also what is some good advice for a beginner in the sport with regards to bank roll, do you play smaller field single entry cash games to build up and try to stay away from multi entry large field cash and gpps? Or do you think head to head is the way to go?

  • lirondayo

For NFL DFS Mailbag: Strategy wise…how do you feel about locking in your top two RB’s in GPP. Considering the volatility at WR, seems like you HAVE to get 50 plus from your two RB’s. So if I have two that I really believe in. Should I just lock em in, and look for variance elsewhere?

  • abright8

How optimal is it to leave cash when filling out lineups? How much is too much unused? On small slates should I leave $800-$1000 to create a unique lineup?

  • dmiller10nc

With temperatures struggling to rise above zero degrees for the GB/CHI game, how do you handle players from this game? Do you exclude them from your player pool? Do you significantly lower your exposure? Or do you view it as an opportunity to take advantage of a player at a lower ownership rate than expected given the matchup?

With low prices on skill guys for Atlanta on Fanduel and an overall lack of top Receiving options, is leaving $1,000+ on the table a viable tournament strategy this week?

Hey Guys, At this time of the year, when some teams have already packed their bags and have the bus running and some teams are just out of the playoff hunt, How much do you factor that into your fantasy selections?

Would you take a guy with a lesser projection that is in the playoff hunt as opposed to a more talented player with slightly higher projections that is out of the race completely?

Do you even dig deeper to see who is playing on a contract year as opposed to a guy who will be making a professional decision by just not trying to get hurt these last few weeks.

I play mostly single entry gpps under $20 entry. There are only about 6 or so each week on the main slate. If I play one and it hits, I win big, But I have a better chance of cashing each week if I play multiple LUs. Do you recommend playing the same lineup every week or 6 different ones and why?

Hey guys my question pertains mass entering small game slates for the NFL. One major thing I tend to do is use vegas lines. I was wondering how you guys use vegas lines for small slates (or just in general). This Thursday-Saturday slate I thought was a prime example of two different Therories. Both games had essentially the same total score. However the Seattle was favored at -10 and the other game favorite was only -3. To me this said create a base around Seattle (because they have best team total) and fill in with other players most likely to excel. However, the juxtaposed strategy of playing the close game and it turns into a blowout has many valid points. To me it came down to the teams, I love shoot outs but dolphins jets doesn’t seem like a shoot out, and much more likely Seattle would eat. So in summary how do you guys intergrate vegas scores into small slates and what else do you use for mass entering small slates? Thanks for any and all advice!

It seems that my best DFS cash game results occur when I have a player playing in the late night “hammer” game. How important is it to you to have exposure to this game? Discuss some players to target in the Tampa Bay @ Dallas game.

  • Sacfly

Hi guys. Love the show! I’m a 16 year Lions season ticket holder and this year started listening to your show on my way to meet up with my buddies for the games. Just so happens that the Lions have a LEGIT chance at division title and me attending the first playoff game in Ford Field history!! Coincidence? I think not!!

My questions today are about cash games. I have heard that the more volume you play the more H2H you should play to reduce variance. Is there a threshold where it makes sense to play only 50/50 until you get to X amount of contests? If so what is that X amount of contest number? Finally, should you increase your H2H to 50/50 ratio as you increase your volume? Thanks.
