My apologies for not getting this up earlier today and thank you to BIF for reminding me.

Glad this thread was still made on a Monday, otherwise Landa would’ve won.

As we all know, traditionally, Vegas gives the home team 3 points for HFA. Have we zeroed in on if Vegas is giving the home team any points now?

If so, how many? 1 point? 2 points? No points?

In the regular season I would think no points or 1 point at most due to the lack of crowd noise, but what with some fans being allowed to attend, with noisemakers, it seems as if the home team has slightly more of an advantage than they did earlier in the year.

  • superjon

No real strong takes on either game yet. Just hoping Mahomes plays and both games are high and tight.

I think it kind of settled around 1 point after the first few weeks, depending on where it was. K.C. had about 17,000 fans this week so maybe they get an extra half point?
G.B. was -1.5 when they played at T.B. earlier in the year so that would pretty much be in line with the 1 point for home field. T.B. crushed them so do we put any value on that?
K.C. was -5.5 at Buffalo earlier and now it is -3.5. So maybe that is with Mahomes questionable or the fact K.C, hasn’t covered much. If you think Mahomes will be fine then maybe jump on them early
None of these teams are significantly different from when they played earlier in the year, one noticeable upgrade will be the return of Vea for T.B.

I’ll be rooting for my lineups and bets! T.B. vs K.C. would be best for my futures bets as I have T.B. to win the NFC and K.C. to win it all. I do have a G.B. to win SB but that T.B. bet pays more

And Green Bay and KC are 2 of the places where 15,000 people can sound like 50,000. I know I saw somewhere last night the line for BUF-KC was like -3 KC with Mahomes and KC +2.5 without him

Same here. Gronk TD this week for sure, TB12 gotta have more than Montana-Rice

Just looked at the prices on FD. Can’t say I really love any of the pricier RB’s. Maybe punt both spots and play 4 WR’s (Adams, Diggs/Hill, Evans/Godwin and a mid range guy).

  • factorial89

    the bills can beat k.c

Question about KC defense… do you think they will double Diggs to try and take him out of game?

  • TopDawgs07

At first glance at RB, I like Ronald Jones and Williams if CEH is out. The Bills didn’t even attempt to run the ball in the first half last week with Singletary. Jones is facing an extremely stout run defense in TB.

KC will play a lot of zone with a deep shell to keep everything underneath.

Diggs should comfortably see a lot of targets in this game, imo.

Besides KC being a better matchup for RB than Baltimore, KC’s offense might cause Buffalo to run the ball a few more times in an attempt to keep KC off the field.

Taking a few fliers on Freeman if the Bills put him on the active roster.

The Bills will definitely run the ball more. It is almost by default. They will do so to prevent the KC pass rush from killing Allen. In week six, the KC pass rush was very good. Not sure Singletary will produce though.

Which definitely is a valid point. I did notice them wanting to run Singletary more at the beginning of the second half. I just think when push comes to shove, they don’t run Singletary, they put the ball in Allen’s hands.

The fact that Singletary has a total of 20 touches in the last 3 games is astounding. The coaching staff there has never liked him. Probably for good reason.

First time I’ve checked this forum in a month and I’m only posting because everything you just said is the opposite of the truth. KC is heavy man D that runs a lot of press coverage. Even though they are good vs WR’s, they do face a lot of deep balls because their CB’s are aggressive. The matchup in a vacuum isn’t good for the best fantasy WR in football over the last month. Although, Smoky and/or Gabriel are bound to see some good deep shots in this one if/when they beat press coverage and because Diggs should draw the S help over the top.

Singletary- Both Indy and Balt had really good run D’s. WHile it was strange they never bothered to try running the ball really at all Vs those 2 teams, it would be suicidal and stupid for them to follow the same game plan Vs KC. ANd that’s the thing, we may question things about the 2020 Bills, but nobody calls them stupid. They let you run on them because that’s smart and the numbers back it up. They pass more than they run because that’s smart. Smart in this game would be attacking a crappy LB core and a front 4 that only excels at pass rush with your RB in order to keep the GOAT on the sidelines and set up the passing game in a difficult matchup. 75% chance they use SIngletary more than most think because that would be the smart thing to do. This is the first run funnel they’ve faced since Moss went down. I think he gets 15 plus touches as a result.

    I’ve retired again.
