…and since I mentioned Dilfer; 3 fun facts about Trent Dilfer

    - only QB to ever be ejected from a game; he threw a punch at Vikings DL John Randle – only QB ever to be released before the next season after winning a Super Bowl as a starter – because the Colts passed on Dilfer in the draft for Trev Alberts, Mel Kiper memorably ripped the Colts top brass for not taking him and the Colts GM came back and verbally attacked Kiper; they show this sometimes on TV as top historical NFL Draft highlights.

Am I the only one that hasnt been impressed by either NFC team? Both had very favordable schedules throughout season. I can see the Packers winning this game in what i think will be a low scoring game.

I’ve watched a lot of Packer games this year, they are doing things a little different under the new HC and I believe they have been allowing the defense to take precedence over the offense this year, and when the D can’t keep up, expect Rodgers to do his thing. If Green Bay had another reliable WR this team would be hard to beat, but they don’t have any depth there to make Rodgers as effective as he could be.

Jimmy G has 1 playoff win to his credit, and in a game like this, you can expect him to make mistakes that Rodgers probably won’t. I think it all boils down to how many interceptions and missed opportunities Jimmy G leaves on the field today, but I definitely think S.F. can lose this game (versus G.B. winning it)

The only options I have to cash out on my sportsbook wagers are those I have placed with either the Titans winning outright or ATS. They did the same thing to me against the Ravens last week, and I foolishly cashed out on a fairly large bet.

    Not today though.

  • rocketman828

I like how Rodgers is being brought up that Green Bay can go into San Fran and beat them sure it can happen but how well has it worked out for the experienced QB’s this postseason? Brady and Brees anybody! Where are they at?

And Colts would have still made the Super Bowl just 1 year later had Marshall Faulk not gotten hurt in the playoffs and missed the AFC Conference Championship game with the Steelers…or they would have too with today’s rules since that ridiculous catch by the Steelers WR to set up the game winning TD for the Steelers would have been an easy no-catch with today’s rule of keeping possession all the way to the ground.

Btw, this year is the 25 year anniversary of that AFC Championship game, maybe the greatest Championship game ever.

Who else is rolling some Coleman/Mostert lineups out there?

I’m not using them together in my only lineup but if I had more I’d have the combo.

That said, I like Mostert this week with recency bias after Coleman went off and Mostert burned like 40% of the field.

RB really sucks. I’m just hoping for serviceable games out of Henry and Mostert and I’ll win elsewhere

The 49ers won arguably the toughest division in football, manhandled a 13-3 team, annihilated the Kyle Allen era when they had been on a 4 game winning streak, won a shootout against Brees and all of their losses were extremely close.

Does anyone know how Tannehill has performed in cold weather games, coming from the Miami dolphins?

  • odanny

K.C. is 29th in rushing defense and they have a hobbled Chris Jones? Trying to tackle Henry when it’s 15 degrees out? Tennessee is averaging a little over 3 minutes per drive when they score a TD? Now if A.J. Brown actually shows up and balls out, Tennessee will win this game.

  • DickyBigtop

Flashy enough to get Erin to stutter.
It’ll be cold with some wind on early slate.
Under is of interest there and maybe allows roster to accommodate some of the second slate players a little more easily.

idk if that matters. all of kc players have played in a afc title game when it is this cold out. last year against the patriots it was 19 degrees out and mahomes still had a good game and so did the offense. has aj brown had many cold games, has tannehill had many cold games? idk but i do know the KC receivers have.

  • bcandrws

we just saw KC play the broncos in the cold and the snow and it didn’t affect hill or kelce whatsover. hill still had 2 TDs that game

It’s easier said then done but the Chiefs just need to prevent Henry from going downhill. He’s not a great side to side RB but once he goes downhill since he’s so strong, he like stiff arms/runs over so many people.

Yep…second level he is a beast. The Titans need to hit on some passing plays in the first half to Raymond, Davis or a TE so the score is at a point where Henry can get those meaningful second half touches where he does his damage.

i think the game is suited for henry but not tannehill

Everyone will have Henry in cash except me lol.

  • DickyBigtop

    Erin Andrews giggling after interview

Maybe a less scoring with stiffer game conditions in KC, I laid on Under

With that in my mind, I rostered more players in the late game.

I faded Henry and Patrick in all SEs.

Single game SEs 325pm I rostered both tho

lol you may be doing it the right way. it,s just i don’t know how good tannehill will be out there in 19 degree weather that he hasn’t played in before

  • DickyBigtop

I don’t either. KC D in all plays. My hope chest is filled with the scoring comes from Cheesy & the 9s slate.

  • NDNole

Why do I have a feeling breida is gonna bust an 80 yard td run and tilt everyone? Im gonna play him today. Watch him have a 8 carries for 121 and a td line or something crazy like that. Thats one of my screwball plays for today.

I mean if you want to win the solo 1M that ‘s the type of thinking you need.

Tannehill had a game while on the phins at the steelers in the snow…he had 200 pass yds, 50 rush yds & 3 TD’s…cold weather isn’t a problem, more so wind that would be an issue and there won’t be any significant wind in this one.
