Guess what? Cam Akers is mispriced again of DK

  • Ricolasvegas

also looking mis-priced to me… Lenny $4900 if Jones sits? and Hunt is $4800- Browns will be chasing points should lead to positive game script for him. Is Kamarra gonna be under-owned ? Tough matchup and plenty of cheap options…

  • Ricolasvegas

Aaron Jones… i feel like most people will overlook him? Being the 2nd most expensive RB and facing the Rams. But Pack got to rest for a week, there a home fav. Not sure what the status is on Donald, but have to like him more if Donald sits. Anybody have any takes on Mr. Jones ?

  • HoodsFromTheWood

With at least 1 TD in 7 straight games, JK Dobbins should have some success vs a Bills D that was gashed for over 6 yds/carry by Taylor/Hines last week without the threat of a running QB. Maybe the Bills, with a better secondary than the Titans, feel confident enough vs a less than stellar Raven’s aerial attack and assign a spy to try and limit Lamar running giving Dobbins a few more carries. But what do I know. I thought you had to travel east to get from LA to Green Bay 🤣

What do you think. Highest owned RB on the slate?

  • Ricolasvegas

Akers should be… but if Jones sits I think it has to be Lenny. Everyone gonna wanna play the value RB’s so they can pay up for the Chiefs and the WR’s I think

  • Tribefan18

Kelce might have 200 yards receiving sunday. The browns cannot cover the middle of the field.

I think Akers and Hunt (and possibly Lenny) will be the highest owned on the slate as they allow you to pay up for the multitude of stud WR’s. Kamara will still have significant ownership though. I see A. Jones as being a low owned pay up to be contrarian option, tough matchup and not a ton of usage, risky play but in GPP’s could provide a lot of leverage if he hits. Singletary is hard to trust as he’s virtually non-existent in the red zone but with Moss out he’s more appealing.

For me it’s Akers, Hunt, Kamara, Chubb, Lenny if Rojo is out.

  • Ricolasvegas

I wasnt planning on playing the Packers Defense until I realized Rams will practice in 80 degree weather all week then travel to G.B. where the high will be 28 on Sunday. and then there this little bow on top.

    From ESPN:
Rams quarterback Jared Goff, assuming his surgically repaired thumb allows him to start, has not fared well in his two cold-weather starts. In games he started with the temperature below freezing, he’s a combined 34-for-72 for 381 yards with no touchdowns and five interceptions.

I think you’re doing this forum a great disservice with your rational takes on the slate this early in the week. Perhaps your time could be better spent reading War And Peace or inventing time travel. Anything but talking football on a football forum. Think of the children for God’s sake!!

  • squidkill

Akers, highest owned just because of price and a sweet matchup. You kind of play the game theory in KC/Clev. Kc gets up quick and Hunt is > Chubb due to playing catch up. Still, Chubb catches passes as well and took one to the house- Ill mix and match

  • squidkill

I think Goff has “dwarf like” hands- Very difficult to grip the football in poor weather. Similar to Branden Allen- It’s a thing.

Or Goff is just not that good of a QB 🤷‍♂️

No matter what, the Rams are going to have to have a good day running the ball and churning clock; additionally they cannot turn it over. Oh and their defense needs to force a turnover or two. If they fail on any of those three, I don’t see how they can win.

(F/D) Don’t keep Singletary off the list – even if CEH and RoJo sit, I don’t hate Singletary (5.7k) > Bell (6.0k) / 4Net (6.3k) with that slight discount. $ Salary is going to be SO tight this weekend, especially on the 4-game slate.

Also noteworthy for all the haters: Taysom Hill is now listed as an RB at $5.1k. There is some real upside there especially if Latavius sits. Yes, TB is allegedly strong against the run but I don’t think this will be the week the Saints stop running gimmick plays.

My placeholder LU for Sat-Sun slate has Hunt/Singletary/Taysom and it opens up a lot of room elsewhere.

Of course, this is all idle speculation. Only a fool would set up any lineups or even think about value plays before Sunday morning.

I have avoided playing Buffalo running backs the entire year. I don’t see that changing

Sure. That’s fair. I’m just getting on record here that with Moss out, a 50O/U, Bills favored in what looks to be a potentially sloppy weather game… you have a starting RB with no real competition in the backfield at $5.7k. I’m putting his floor at at least 10FD pts. I’d be surprised if he didn’t hit 3x value.

But hey, I’m playing Taysom, too… so I have plenty of rostered RBs to hate on. :P

  • superjon

Singletary did well (for his price) in 2 of the 3 games Moss was out earlier in the year, but not sure if there were ever factors as well.

However, Baltimore did just shut down Henry last week.

Mr Khaaan- Sounds like a plan, but my money says you get shut out at lock.

Haha I was just doing an impression of our good friend Landa, the forum’s resident curmudgeon.

Baltimore made a concerted effort to shut down Henry… they won’t likely be game-planning for Singletary. That being said, I don’t expect the Bills to be “featuring” him, either. However – I think the same argument made earlier for Dobbins success applies 99% to Singletary as well, at a lower price, on the favored home team, and with a lot less skilled/experienced competition for touches, and even more so if Diggs is at much less than 100% health.

This’ll be my last thoughts on the Singletary subject. I’ll certainly be playing him unless other news/situations change, ‘nuff said on my part. :)

Buffalo came out of the gates vs Indy playing the conservative route and almost lost because of it. Their KC like passing offense is their strength. If they play smart and jump on the Ravens via the air early, Singletary becomes a clock eater in the 2nd half.

    invents time travel

Lots of tough WR/CB matchups this week
    if that matters

  • emnj69

no way would I play a bills rb -allen is their defacto rb and singletary is not very good and the ravens just shut down henry

I will be 100% hunt-he is very talented, game script should be in his favor and vs his old team and not expensive-I know he will be chalky but I dont care

  • emnj69

    lots of annoying rb questions
lenny vs jones -jones killed me last week but watch him play at low ownership and smash
ceh-is he healthy or will bell have a miracle throw back game
murray is he going to play
hunt vs chub-one could go both to be somewhat different

  • manBEAST

End of the Pittsburgh game was fun, but what a volatile weekend…I’m sure plenty of lineups had John Brown, Corey Davis, and Ronald Jones have to avoid those mines this weekend!
