The numbers don’t lie. The Steel Curtain is probably still the best but when this Jags team goes and maybe wins the superbowl, they’ll no doubt be one of the top in recent times.

What are the odds that Moklovin and Empiremaker2 are the same guy? They both have the identical players in the identical slots in the “single entry” $200 touchdown with only 11 total entrants. I realize it’s just a 4 game slate so odds are better for matching lineups but still think it’s suspicious. https://deeplink.me/draftkings.com/contest/gamecenter/52289323

OK, so on a $25 Triple up on FD, here are their lineups so far:

    Empiremaker2 : Moklovin:
    Smith Smith
    Gurley Gurley
    Sanu Sanu
    Matthews Matthews
    Walker Walker
    Ficken Ficken

    Hill

It’s obvious these two are the same player, the only difference he is playing Hill on one card and not the other. I’ll be checking later to see if Sunday games line up.

From a pure talent standpoint Sammy is better than both Woods and Kupp

What does that even mean ?
Yes many years ago Sammy was good in college and a game breaker – so were many other high picks who failed in the NFL because of failure to adjust or grasp the NFL’s differences or players who struggled with injuries, etc…

Woods had a breakout year building on the confidence he gained last year when Watkins when down in Buff and he took over as their top WR. He totally surprised me and took me a while to buy in and play him.

Kupp has proven all season that he can get open on short routes as well as almost anyone in the league and he made some incredible catches and sideline toe-tappers this year.

I don’t recall too many Sammy highlights this year. He has been a guy who pouted and lashed out when he didn’t get the ball or when people criticized his play. For whatever reason (injury, confidence, lack of an NFL IQ, etc), he is a WR3 or WR4 level talent now.

85 Bears, Purple people eaters, 2015 Broncos ….

Jags D has played pretty awesome. But then ask yourself , Who have they played???

One of the GOATS?? I thinks not …

They gotta shut some of those holes… the greatest Defenses were top 3-5 in all defense categories. Jags have the blueprint. Just haven’t fully built the GOAT house

I rarely play nfl, but being the playoffs I’ve thrown in a lineup or two. For today’s 1:05 slate, who is the best high priced play for the saints? Kamara, Ingram, Brees, or Thomas? I was leaning towards Ingram seeing they are favored (and should run more with a lead? Plus the lower price vs kamara), but I’m close to clueless so any input would be great.

I would not call a team that gave up 37 to the Titans, 23 to the Jets, 27 to the Rams, 27 to the Cardinals, 24 to the Seahawks, and 44 to the 49ers one of the best defenses in history.

Let’s look at their opponents in their other ten games.

    Houston twice
    Tennessee
    Baltimore
Pittsburgh (the one legit good offense that they shut down)
    Colts twice
    Bengals
Chargers (meh, they’re ok but not elite)
    Browns

Maybe… just maybe… their historically strong numbers are a function of a historically weak schedule. Now I think they will shut down Buffalo but they’re going to get destroyed by either the Patriots or Steelers next week.

Ok so your post loses all validity with “one of the greatest of all time”. WTF hahaha

Maybe he is a very young man (woman?) who has not seen and does not remember the likes of the Pittsburgh ‘Steel Curtain’, the Minnesota ‘Purple People Eaters’ or the Bears ‘Monsters of the Midway’ defenses! That is not to say that there have been many other great defenses through the years, Denver, New England etc.. ???

I have seen the Jags give up some points lately. Its the playoffs and most qbs dudded. Tygod at 4700. I’m going to live and die today saying he gets 15-20. Have him paired in power sweep with Kelvin and Clay. Total cost 12.2.. We will see:)

Quite possible. He can get you some yards running and maybe garbage time.

One of the greatest of all time????? GTFO

As a Bills fan, I hate to hear this. Sadly, I agree with you. One key will be for Jacksonville to keep Tyrod in the pocket. He is a very poor pocket passer who lacks field vision and holds onto the ball too long. He needs to create time on the outside and use his legs. I don’t think it will be difficult to game plan for this Bills offense. Shadow Shady and contain Tyrod. I’m interested to see if coach McDermott brings anything else to the table. In fairness, he has a lack of talent.

Exactly blue. The guy doesn’t get my humor. Raymond went to Disney world after taking the title. Miss the kid, he was only here for the season long takes but he respected the game.

Jags #1 rushing team in the NFL vs the #29 rush defense in Buffalo. Fournette will be 80+% owned

Ingram safer and I’ll have more of him but I think Shady will be criminally underowned on a two game slate and that makes him a much better GPP play given his ceiling is just as high as any back on the slate (and yes I know he’s injured but I think if he’s healthy enough to be active and play that it’s not as big an issue as people think)

  • TheRyanFlaherty

Incoming 100 yd 3 Td game incoming from Ingram, since he’s one if the only valuable players this weekend that I have no exposure to anywhere.
And with that logic, I guess u should also expect 2 vulture TD’s from Stewart as well lol

#1? No way they are #1. But yes, if everyone is gonna buy into the game script and the 25-30 touches, Fournette will be chalky.

Like I said, do you think Fournette does more with 25-30 touches or Kamara with 12-18 touches?

  • superstars92

When I said Fournette was a “downhill” back I just meant he’s a max of a one cut type of back who will hit the hole and go with it.

That’s why his YPC is terrible, but I guess if he gets enough carries, he should still get value, especially if he gets TDs (which I think we all expect him to get).
