I don’t get it – they could run the same contest and do a $250K 1st prize with good amounts for the Top 15 and it would sell out way faster

    Salaries are up on DK

Brady lowest priced QB of the starters
Ertz and Goedert are 1-2 in TE pricing

I vaguely remember that they might have done this last year. Could be mistaken, but it seems to ring a bell. What an absolutely rubbish, terrible, just trying to get as much rake as possible idea. Four-game slates are fun, just enough games to sink your teeth into and to really be able to try to differentiate. Two-game slates are just not the same at all. Guess it’ll only be DK for me for the playoffs!

They ran a 250k to first last year.

Aikman was bemoaning Dallas missing the playoffs because “Dallas is capable of beating anyone.” He then said “people will respond by saying that’s true of any team on their best day, but it’s not true.” Guess he missed Miami winning in NE and some of the other big upsets this year.

Any NFL team on their best day is capable of beating any other team. This just proves Aikman is an idiot.

    Black Monday.

Browns, Cowboys, Giants all fired their HC. Perhaps more to come.

Little Danny Snyder fired Bruce Allen. That’s good. But I’d like to fire Snyder, too. Into the sun.

What new and fascinating way will the Saints lose in the playoffs this year? Maybe they just lose in the wild card round and get it over with

My first run through the games I am leaning
NE to win and cover a 23-17 type game. everyone wants it to be the end of the Pats and they’ve looked bad but they’ll find a way to win. Then everyone will take them against KC and KC will beat them
Buffalo to win like 24-14 have this kind of how they beat Dallas(better individual talent but much worse coach) except with Beasley having a big game it’ll be Brown
NO to win but not cover 31-28 Latavius revenge game!! Just kidding, think Cousins has a big 2nd half trying to bring them back but comes up short. NO tds are spread out and nobody has a monster game
Philly to win 27-24 on a last minute fg. Seattle dicking around in the first half trying to run bites them in the ass. Russ ties it up late but Wentz leads a fg winning drive

Have to see how injuries play out through the week and am not locking anything in yet. I’ll revisit this later in the week and see if I feel the same.

    Thoughts?

This guy I know runs a fantasy playoff tournament every year. I’ve been playing it for like 10 years. It’s really fun and challenging. It is only $5 to enter and last year there were like 85 entries. He gives all the money back in payouts and you can see everyone’s score. The rules are you pick a roster 4 QB, 6 RB, 10 WR, 4 K. Your weekly lineup is 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, and 1 K. His scoring is weighted on yards gained and points scored.

Also, you get 1 free pick up to add to your roster. Its quite challenging. If anyone is interested I can forward you his email address. Last year winner won around $200 and pays out to like the 8 place finisher getting $5 back. I do it mostly for fun and I compete with 2 of my brothers who enter. My one brother 2 years ago came in 2nd place.

    Good luck all.

FD slates r trash they can’t even give the tickets away… satellites with more guaranteed tickets then entry’s. Then try to add a slate for the entire weekend without any big contest lol 🤦‍♂️

Haha ya, I’m annoyed they did the 2 game slates as the main ones, but on Sunday night’s showdown slate there was a satty for $3 paying out 500 $9 tickets and only like 650 people entered so it was basically a guaranteed triple up with a 10 entry max so I do now have a total of 15 tickets for the Saturday slate at greatly reduced cost per entry

Yes and no. The bad team needs the good team to not show up and show up itself. DAL could beat good teams even if both teams showed up for the game. The problem with DAl is they didn’t show up for most games, especially on D, which means any team can beat you in the NFL.

Either way, I had a hard time understanding why Aikman seemed to do every Dallas game for the last 6 weeks. People would inevitably perceive a conflict of interest at some point whether it were true or not.

Thielen- Slot Vs NO’s may be a thing if he still plays it. I’m wondering if Kirk can put up numbers in a losing effort. Maybe NO’s TD’s come in different ways but Minny’s all come through the air. Either way, I think NO’s wins. They’ve looked focused lately.

RB’s Vs WR’s- Who to spend up for?
Last week in a bunch of meaningless games for most teams RB’s smashed at a pretty extreme level. I “think” this week you pay up for WR’s in cash and GPP’s. It’s literally the opposite type of environment as last week and that should make ceiling games from RB’s hard to come by. On the other hand, top WR’s always seem to get peppered with targets in the playoffs. Basically, my first read is paying up for WR’s and going light on Henry/Cook.

  • FantasySultan

Thielen hasn’t been himself since hurting his Hammy against Detroit and then coming back way too early and reaggravating it. Vikings offense has gone into the shitter since Thielen got hurt.
