Oh thank you. I was in Halifax NS when I was 12. Baseball tournament. I ate bubblegum ice cream for the first time and we lost to Moncton in the finals. That is all.

Sports gambling became legal in my home state today. It’s kind of cool that I can be onsite and live bet for the playoffs and I will be doing just that. I did it Sunday in Indiana which is right by where I coach BBALL pretty much every day. I may hold back a little on some games and just watch value open up after someone scores or doesn’t score. The bookies I’m friends with always tell me how much they get pounded on live betting. The halftime money line for SEA (to W the game) was like +880 or something like that and they came a yard away from pulling it out.

I’m glad you like the over in the SEA game because I was leaning that way. My gut tells me the public is going to overvalue BUF and underestimate Hous and this forum is reinforcing that belief. If I see that line go from 2- or minus 3 even to closer to a pick’m on saturday, I’ll pound Hous and make it my big game for the week. I’m not seeing the same line movement on the Philly game on vegasinsider. It looks like it opened at SEA 1 and has either stayed there or moved to 2 depending on the spot. It might have just been a bad line that got corrected immediately and was never even released at most places.

Still piecing together a lot of things and have not read a whole lot, think the Holidays delayed POWN and some of the articles. I’m getting my deposit back on DK today at some point so I’ll try to join your contest if you still have spots. Just sent back the e-mail before this post.

Yeah. Political BS. See which fat dummies can get the most money once it goes down

  • marker0357

Oh, I know. I lived there 6 years and moved back to IN when I retired last Summer. Couldn’t take the taxes and crazy-ass traffic.

Where? I’ve got D. Moore on my radar if he gets the undisputed 3 WR role for SEA but what else are you looking at? Really looks like Fuller/Cook play and IDC what scrub plays for Philly, the main guys are priced up. I just don’t see where value would open up.

You wanna get wild on FD? Play Taysom at TE, he’s $5200.
Corey D is cheap and has put up big games against NE

I will pay Hill in a 2 game slate for sure, probably have some Davis as well

So it’s legal in Illinois now ? and has been in Indiana for a while ?

Just asking as I’m not aware which do/don’t have it legalized. In Canada, we can’t bet sports locally but have never had an issue with overseas books so I’ve had accounts for 20 years

I truely believe Henry is an easy fade. High priced, coming off a whopping 32 carries against the skeleton of a resting Houston defense against a historically genius coach who removes a team’s best offensive weapon. I’ll take half priced Sony Michel as I predict he gets 20 plus carries and majority of the goal line work. Also patriots defense a lock for me. Has tannehill ever even been in a playoff game🤔. I hope the masses rly think that new England was truely interested in the game against Miami. Pats defense is a pack of seasoned vets with playoff experience. Sign me up.

There’s a 0% chance that this Patriots squad thinks they can afford tacking on another game onto their schedule. It’s hard to say with certainty that Tennessee can win at this level against an opponent like New England, but it’d be ridiculous for them to feel comfortable enough to play with seeding instead of ensuring they got the must win game versus Miami.

I am a dealer at Encore..from what I have been told Encore has an area specifically set up and ready to go the minute sports betting becomes legal in MA. Its suppose to be a full sports book with horse racing etc.
They are hoping it will be in full effect before the new NFL season begins.

has been in Indiana for a few months now. I cannot live bet or college DFS but can do all pro sports offered and college is OK in sports betting but not DFS. go figure. Not too many casinos in Indiana really so in-person slow to adapt but its nice that DK etc. have put out their offerings. I don’t think IL is legal yet but I could be wrong.

CT will be interesting with Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods having such a large presence on the Beast Coast.

I think it just got legal last year in IND and on JAN 1 in IL along with mary jane. Things are really looking up around here. All the money is going to go to education just like what happened with the lottery so I’m mostly excited for the kids. Who knew that gambling and drugs would end up being helping our children’s future? Plus with global warming, you can bet the NFL playoffs and it’s 55 outside. Great time to be alive.

Actually, you are right. It’s officially legal in the spring. I coach a HS BBALL that is literally 2 mins from the Horseshoe in INDY so that’s where I’m going to be every weekend anyway.

Well I’ve settled on ole Captain Kirk Cousins as my QB on yahoo. May god help us all, hoping for a shootout in the dome. Which means this will probably be a 17-10 snooze fest in favor of the saints.

They gave me some free Encore rooms and buffets originally. Not so much now.
Played Blackjack once. After the dealer paid me 6-5 on a BJ I had to leave. With table limits so high, they shouldn’t have to do that.

What’s better…needing to win 3 games to get to the Superbowl or needing to win 2 games?

Of course, they were interested in winning against Miami.

I live very close to the Indiana state line. Can I actually drive to Richmond, place a bet on DK for the NFL games, and then drive back to my home state of Ohio? Will that work?

What QB is everyone leaning this weekend? I’m not sure how accurate Awesomo’s rankings are on Thursday, but they look ridiculous currently. He has Watson at 28%, Brees at 21%, Russ at 19%, Wentz at 13%, Tanny is at 3% and Brady at 5%. It’s showing Cousins and Allen at .1% which completely throws it all off. Part of me is liking the idea of playing Russ/Wentz heavy. I like that game to be higher scoring than maybe many expect. Cousins and Allen are both interesting too if their ownership is truly that low. I could see Cousins in a catch up role and Allen should be in line for success against Houston.

Losing to the DOLPHINS were HUGE last week- They needed that victory for rest and home field until AFC title game. Its amazing to think otherwise. Of course they were truly interested and INVESTED. They choked. No other teams besides maybe Philly and Minny needed a BYE as much as them

  • squidkill

anyone hear from DEEBO? no sighting since week16? No xmas card, No Thank you note to the Forum- We must have failed him late in the season.

  • deeebo

Yo whats going on squid. No im still here. our fd league actually continues into the playoffs. so we still have another week! just trying to figure out who to play. also, i am pissed like actually so angry we have seahawks. we are losing this weekend and there are no questions about it. russell wilson will tear up our secondary. and they are just the better team regardless of how they have looked the past few weeks. i wanted the niners so badly because i knew we had a shot against them. the coaching of seattle and experience and wilson scare me. we never beat them. home or away. but other than that, is everyone playing 4 wrs this week instead of 3 rbs for cash games?

    I double this sentiment.
Illinois passed the law a long time ago and now the politicians are trying to slice up the pie to their friends, while the “players” in online gambling and the “players” knocking on the door to get in……Raise great questions about how prepared Illinois is to run an operation like this. Still no word about where we stand or when we can expect some “local” action.

The good thing is that all offshore forms of gambling are considered defacto legal, because it is not against the law. The bad thing is I am really hating the trend of offshore gaming. They charge to deposit, place a bet and to withdraw. and what the F is crypto-currency and how easy is it to liquidate. Good thing Illinois now is a place to legally get stoned, so we can wait with less stress.

question for the lifelong Pats fan, who seems to be a bit stressed about his teams chances this year.

When was the last time Brady (TB12) had back to back stinkers?
They got some issues and they are playing a good team but I DO NOT DISCOUNT the championship experience of the majority of the team. Add up all the SB titles, all of the Conference championships, all of the playoff wins. Which playoff team comes in second to the Patriots?
